“I’m not planning on dragging you into the SKY, silly,” the pulsean simply chirped lively in response, shaking her head. When Hope didn’t show signs of RESISTANCE, she continued to drag him through the light crowds, eyes beaming up at the colourful display of fireworks. Playful and driven by childlike innocence, she wanted to get as close as possible — The view was too beautiful to be forsaken. 

“Here is good,” Vanille spoke softly, nimble feet suddenly coming to a standstill when she sensed nearby guards throwing a look in their direction. “Oh, look Hope, they’re so PRETTY! I’ve never seen fireworks like these before.” 

“I-i never said you were gonna take me into the air. Just saying that they’re not gonna let us get too close..” The boy said while being dragged by the other. He smiled while doing so His bright hair being coloured by the bright coloured embers..

                “Well, now you’re just bein’ a smart-aleck.”  

                 LAUGHTER rumbles in the man’s chest, along with the warming sensation of brotherly affection. It brings ease and joy to his heart knowing that his friends – his teammates, his family – are far from any remaining danger now that their perilous journey has come to an end. Sure, a hero’s duty is never truly over, but, still, it’s a relief to focus on the simple things for a while.

                 “WHOA, whoa, whoa – scarin’ me? Listen here, kiddo, hero’s don’t get scared, so – huh?” He finds himself distracted by Hope’s final comment and the way he searches intently through his pockets. “Somethin’ for me?”        

The boy let out a soft giggle. He’d been called many thing, but ‘smart-aleck’ wasn’t of of them.

Switching her attention from the colourful sky sparkling in vibrant shades of blue and purple, Vanille offered a MELLOW grin to the young male, followed by briskly nodding in agreement. She always enjoyed a SHOW, and was truly amazed by the powerful display — Fireworks like these were SURELY not found back in Oerba. 

“It’s beautiful,” the pulsean giggled playfully in response, slender fingers gripping Hope’s wrist followed by tugging him foreward with IMPATIENT enthusiasm. “Come on! Let’s go CLOSER!”

Hope let out a worried giggle as the female dragged him along. He bright colours lighting up their faces. He found it hard to keep up, stumbling as he ran. His hair waved wildly in the wind. He couldn’t help but smile as the other pulled on him.
