Elliot Valentine’s Day cards just in time for the holiday chocolate.

     ”That is a side effect of your lifestyle. I wish it could be different. The stress cannot be good for your health.” He shifted to the kitchen, retrieving the kettle while chuckling at his observation. “Yes, well, one of my roommates happens to be utterly decadent himself. It wears off on the place.”

" You're right, but it's cool Hayden. If someone's gotta do it, I don't mind it. It's only until they decide whether or not to nuke the place and all anyone gives a damn about is how ' inhumane ' it is. Even though they're dead, " A sigh left his lips, reaching a hand back and smoothing the sore muscles of his neck, " Oh, clearly. I'm sure the only way it stays in one piece is thanks to you. "

     ”Your sort of pests aren’t here. Still, do come in.” He stepped aside, clearing the doorway for his entrance. “I wasn’t expecting you or else I would have had something warm ready.”

" Yeah, I know, jus' think about it like me being a little paranoid. You kinda train yourself to be dancing on feathers when you're out fighting, " Shaking himself a bit, he strut into the abode, placing his hands on his hips, " Hayden, I ain't ever gonna get over how decadent this damn place is. "

   "Is it a crime to be walking around? Do you own the world? That’s a mighty big claim you’ve got there… kidding! I’m allowed to stroll around, aren’t I?" He was taking care of some business, but that was irrelevant to the other. "I’m sure you don’t want to remember, so isn’t it easier to just pretend like it never happened?" His voice rose into a light chirp. He’s awfully nosy, isn’t he? "Well, I found this phone and it had a bunch of weird numbers and it’s been paid for regardless of being lost for some time and I kinda needed a phone. But I didn’t want to delete any of the stuff because what if the owner comes to find it? I could just delete my texts and stuff and then happily fork over the phone and that would be that. So I guess your number was on here. Sorry about that, dude."

" You talk too much for your own good, signifying that you're either lying or bluffing. I don't see why you have to act as though someone questioned your personal space when I only asked why you have come to my office. Joke or not, it's really bothersome... " Ince remarked idly, standing up and out of his chair. As an information specialist, information was something he practically breathed. Knowing something another didn't proved useful, and in this case, knowing just put him at ease. He didn't take this being as much of a threat, despite the smell radiating off of them, but there was no room to leave out being cautious. He had jobs to preform, and getting cocky now would get him no where. Especially when Dai's own well being hung in the balance, he couldn't afford to get too selfish too fast. As much as his pride hung in the balance, he preferred to be kind. It pained him, the position he held usually, but nothing could be done for now. " Don't call me dude, please, you can call me Kane, " The demonic entity muttered quietly as he inched closer to the other, extending a hand, " I did not mean to intrude or get off on the wrong foot, that would be rather stupid. I apologize for being rather rude, and pressing into things without taking into consideration how they might bother you, " A gentle smile curled onto his lips, " May life treat us well, would you mind me treating you to something as compensation for my...rather unintentionally offensive actions? "

   "Sorry about that! That was meant for a friend. You can just… delete it and we can put this all behind ourselves." Ugh, gross. At least he’s an amazing actor. 

" Hm... " The fog based creature lowered his hand, propping his head on his hand before speaking again, " I don't know if I can put it behind me. So let's get straight to the point, what's someone with a demonic energy stamp doing here? " After all, Ince assumed most demons would rather avoid one another, " Also, how'd you get my number? "

   "Ask for what?" Oops.

" You're the one that sent that, aren't you? " That energy signature, he's felt it before--but perhaps he's just being paranoid. This could just be another demon.

" I'll make sure I do, and I have been, it gets pretty cold here too you know. I've made sure to keep safe, " He practically lived inside his coat this winter, it'd been particularly harsh some days after all, " I'm traveling to the northern states in America to live with a friend of mine. I'll be going to Culinary school there, all while keeping writing and reading as my hobbies. I'll be sure to come visit you whenever I get the chance. "
