what do straight boys blog about ?

just discovered a new thing to be a hater about (people drawing characters as women’s hockey players but for SOME reason the jerseys are form-fitting and they seem to not be wearing any chest pad at all or normal hockey pants. and thus I am killing and biting and maiming.)

I feel it would be good to have a word that's like not ragebait but shamebait, where you can read a post and just go 'ah, this person just wants me to feel ashamed of myself and is not engaging with the issue in a constructive or useful way. I do not have to participate in this actually' and like. move on with your day

just because someone can articulate their point better doesn’t make them right, it makes them articulated. 

and you aren’t stupid for having trouble articulating yourself.

i’m so tired of being told that what female fans want in men’s sports is more fashion and champagne and over the top displays of wealth and wag content when really what women want is, like, a sport where the managers and players and marketers and male fans aren’t raging misogynists

men are allowed to like the thing itself, while women can only like the aesthetics and the lifestyle and the shallowest parts of the thing. and this is super good and feminist and empowering and never actually think critically about any of this that’s too hard it’s literally not that deep!
