I’m tired of seeing people saying Yixing will leave EXO or doesn’t care when it’s very obvious that it’s out of either of theirs control and there have been plenty of moments to show that.
From these I would think it was clear that Yixing and EXO care about each other and wish to perform together but the THAAD issue doesn’t allow that.
For those using the argument that other groups have active Chinese members, Yixing is a Youth Ambassador in China, it’s a position that’s regarded highly and works with the government and he is the first celebrity to have this title.
China is a country that has literally banned Winnie the Pooh from it’s media because the leader didn’t like that he was compared to the character. So could you imagine the damage they could do to Yixing and EXO should Yixing promote in Korea and therefore ‘take Koreas side’.
Honestly it’s a smart move for Yixing to promote in China only since he continues to promote EXO throughout his time subtly.
That being said support Yixing with his second album and enjoy some precious ot9 moments.
