The third and final son of Queen Rhaenyra and Ser Laenor, Joffrey was, like his brothers, rumored to be the bastard of the Commander of the Gold Cloaks and heir to Harrenhal, Ser Harwin Strong. Too young at the start of the Dance to take part in the fighting, Joffrey was kept close to the queen and his half-brothers for most of the war. During Rhaenyra’s occupation of King’s Landing a mob descended upon the Dragonpit, intent upon killing the beasts within. Donning a squire’s armor and stealing away upon his mother’s dragon, Syrax, Joffrey managed to free several of them including his own, Tyraxes. 

For this act of bravery, at the end of the war, Joffrey had the title Lord of Harrenhal bestowed upon him, a seat recently vacated with Larys Strong’s beheading by Cregan Stark. Once he came of age he departed for his new seat. There he lived in relative peace, marrying Lord Manderly’s daughter as was agreed, and fathering several sons, naming them in the tradition of the Riverlands. With the death of his eldest nephew, Prince Daeron, Lord Joffrey was named Prince of Dragonstone and was given his mother’s surname, Targaryen.

ℌ𝔞𝔭𝔭𝔦𝔢𝔯 𝔈𝔫𝔡𝔦𝔫𝔤𝔰 𝔣𝔬𝔯 𝔗𝔥𝔢 𝔖𝔱𝔯𝔬𝔫𝔤 𝔓𝔯𝔦𝔫𝔠𝔢𝔰: 𝔏𝔲𝔠𝔢𝔯𝔶𝔰 𝔙𝔢𝔩𝔞𝔯𝔶𝔬𝔫

The second born son of Queen Rhaenyra Targaryen and Ser Laenor Velaryon ( rumored to be Ser Harwin Strong’s in truth ), Prince Lucerys Velaryon, Lord of the Tides and Master of Driftmark, once known as Luke, spent much of his youth in a bitter feud with his uncle, Prince Aemond Targaryen. This feud would come to a head in 129 AC when the Dance of the Dragons began. Sent to entreat Lord Borros Baratheon to join his mother’s cause, the young prince had sworn to take no part in the fighting. His uncle had made no such promises and in the raging storm outside their dragons clashed, five times smaller than Vhagar in fairer weather, Arrax might have evaded the she-dragon, but in the wind and rain she fought to stay aloft and was quickly caught. Vhagar’s jaws closed around Arrax’s neck and both dragon and prince came crashing down into the sea below.

While the dragon’s corpse was found upon the shore Lucerys’ never followed. Bruised, beaten and half dead the prince was pulled from the sea and smuggled back to Dragonstone. There he spent months in recovery, only to retire to Driftmark upon the death of Aegon II. After the war he wed Rhaena Targaryen, as promised, and served as Lord of the Tides. For some years they traveled along the coats, crossing the Narrow Sea several times before the journeying became too much upon his old wounds. 

ℌ𝔞𝔭𝔭𝔦𝔢𝔯 𝔈𝔫𝔡𝔦𝔫𝔤𝔰 𝔣𝔬𝔯 𝔗𝔥𝔢 𝔖𝔱𝔯𝔬𝔫𝔤 𝔓𝔯𝔦𝔫𝔠𝔢𝔰: 𝔍𝔞𝔠𝔞𝔢𝔯𝔶𝔰 𝔗𝔞𝔯𝔤𝔞𝔯𝔶𝔢𝔫

Eldest son of Queen Rhaenyra Targaryen and Ser Laenor Velaryon ( rumored son of Ser Harwin Strong ) King Jacaerys Targaryen I, affectionately known as Jace, was made Prince of Dragonstone in 129 AC. A staunch supporter of the Party of the Blacks he served as both envoy and solider to his mother Queen Rhaenyra Targaryen. His greatest triumph during the war coming in the same year when he successfully forged an alliance between houses Stark & Targaryen ( known as The Pact of Ice and Fire ). It was during this trip that he met Lord Cregan Stark, one of his own fiercest supporters and later Hand and married Cregan’s half-sister Sara Snow ( later legitimized as Sara Stark ) in a secret ceremony in the godswood.
