the more he speaks, the more apparent his age becomes, and gwen finds her expression turning warmer, her gaze softening.  there is nothing threatening about this boy, not in the slightest.  ❛ there’s no need for that, i’m certainly not a lady.  call me gwen, please. ❜ she turns then, opposite to the way he’s facing, and indicates with her head.  ❛ come on then.  it doesn’t feel it yet, but it gets quite cold after dark, and if you intend to find your way home you don’t want to be caught out for too long, certainly not in a cloak as thin as that. ❜
