it didnt have the energy to even look around, it could hardly move anyways. everything hurts.

its vision was finally getting more stable. it could see where they were.

he tried propping himself up, but the moment he did his vision started to blur. their arm kept shaking. they fell back down and decided to just wait. somebody had to come by soon. maybe there's a chance he's still alive.

He was standing over a mug of hot chocolate.

Every second cd was asleep is another second they might not wake.

He's scared.

it was so quiet though. was somebody hiding from him? or is it something else.

should he pretend to be asleep?

no... what if its gd? what if-

he has to get this over with. if its somebody who wants him dead, so be it. he's already injured enough.

he uses some of his energy to finally just ask

They've moved some and his eyes are kinda open and holy shit.

"Cd! Cd holy shit-!"

Gd rushes over to it

"Me- its me- its gd-"

was he safe?

how worried was gd about him, how did gd even find him?

he had so much to ask, but it felt so difficult to even speak.

Gd pulls out his phone and dials a number, waiting impatiently for it to answer.

It answers.

"Hey-! Everfree I was wondering if you could help me with something and im so sorry to bother you but can you help me?"

"You can? Ok so you said you know some magic?"

"Can you heal people."

"A little? That's still better then what I have can you get to [address]?"

"10 minutes ok."

Gd hangs up.

"I don't know what happened to you all I know is I found you after days of looking."

"i was out there for days?"

he kinda paused

"sorry for not telling you anything. and uh"

"thanks."

Gd lets the person in and they come to the living room.

"Hello, you must be chance detector. My name is everfree. Gd has mentioned you once or twice and im here to help you with your injurys. Now im not the best with healing magic but I can help with some of this."

his head was pounding. but what if it was just because of how long it took for him to wake up?

he hasn't seen himself at all, his arm hurts a lot though. he cant hear much. maybe it'll ask about those? their head hurting could kill them... so, maybe start there. i dunno, it's stupid.

"It's.. pretty bad."

The ice starts to glow and he rubs that across his hands before just barely not touching chance detectors head, letting the magic to it's work.

he paused.

"I'll probably still have to..." He coughed a few times.

"Get them treated too..."

He slowed down.

"and I can't just... go and fake my death again."

"i mean, I'll ask around? i hardly talk with the detectors lol..." "ill ask around, uh."

Everfree's moves his hands lower as chance detectors head heals up a good bit but doesn't quite feel right again. Gd, who was pacing around leaves to the kitchen.

he kinda laughed before realizing that HURT.

Everfree contemplates something for a moment.

"So you know a lot about him then? Sorry if this prys, but, I want to impress him and your my best bet to surprise him with something."

"wait is he like over evil??? like... waitwait can i get an update."

They think for a moment with this information.

"Hm, well uh I'll keep that in mind. Flowers is a good gift and maybe I should hand craft something as well, maybe a vase for the Flowers?"

"Sometimes I sew and jewelry is always fun to make, does soups and stews count?"

They get up from the floor with an effort.
