Shane’s condo is just as quiet and neighbourless as Shane’s house. It’s just as perfectly, tastefully, interior-designer decorated as Shane’s house, and it’s even less lived-in. The only room that anyone ever spends any time in is the bedroom, because the condo only gets used when Rozanov is in town. They meet there after their games in Montreal, they fuck, and then they leave. Nobody has ever spent more than four consecutive hours in that apartment. Only one other person has its address.

Rozanov calls it the sex apartment, or the fuck condo, or Shane’s sex dungeon, if he’s feeling like being particularly irritating. But the fact that Rozanov refers to it at all immediately breathes more life into that practically-abandoned building than is contained in the house that Shane has occupied for four years.

I'm looking for a lost fic! It's post TLG and Ilya has a bad hit on the ice and Shane gets to comfort and be there with him because theyre public now. I remember the announcers thinking that Shane was leaving the bench to start a fight but he actually just laid down on the ice to comfort Ilya.

Big hits, shouting, gloves on the ice, and something explosive enough to replay in slow motion with dramatic music layered over it for weeks afterward. Boston versus Montreal always delivered on that front, so when the league decided to mic up Ilya Rozanov and Shane Hollander for the broadcast, nobody questioned it. If anything, it felt inevitable. What no one expected was domestic bickering.

I loved reading this one so much. It is short and sweet. I just love happiness and fluff.
