The halfbreed’s eyes widened slightly as the black aura engulfed the wolf in such a quick matter and then a man arose from it. “That’s not funny….what if I had pulled my sword on you?” She asked keeping her hand on the hilt, she did not know exactly what she was dealing with. Kira could not believe that it had actually taken her this long to figure this out, she was usually better than this she had let her guard down. “……I can imagine…..I’m sorry to have ruined your fun but as you can see I am not exactly human so it should not have slipped by me.” She responded, her fox ears going down a bit completely embarrassed by this whole situation. 

Giving her a shrug as he glanced back over at the water, “Eh, at least you’re more perceptive than humans. All they seem sometimes is to have one thought in mind and then forget everything else around them.” He paused for a few moments before laughing, “Makes it much easier to sneak up on hunters when they decide to take a chance at a prize or two.”

“I suppose yes that would make it easier to sneak up on others, though I find hiding my scent and or power to be quite sufficient.” She paused taking a breath before looking to the water. “I don’t believe people like you and me are prizes to be won we are as much human as any of them….we were just born a bit differently than them…more developed….” She would defend that even though she was partially human herself.

“You have no idea who you’re talking to. Those hunters have had a bounty on my head for years.” Kai grinned as he shook his head, “Haven’t stopped them yet that your target is someone who could possibly be anyone. They’re quite resilient on that matter, never outright say what they’re up to though.”

“But you must have done something truly horrible to piss them off.” She said chuckled slightly. “Well some humans are smart they have formed groups before trust me I have had to kill some because they were a threat, they won’t probably ever say what they are up to.”

Cherish was on her knees exhausted from the battle. She tries to lift her sword, but it felt so heavy. Cherish saw Cerys protecting her. Cherish had a faint smile on her face “H-hey Cerys” she said with a sigh of relief.

Just as the creature came at them Cerys swung her foot around and kicked the thing far enough to buy them some time before it recovered. She sensed Cherish stand up, one of her fox tails grabbing her to help her stand up. “You are never bothering me! Cherish I have told you this before!” The kitsune hissed as a shard seemed to come out from where the demon had landed and strike straight into her arm. “Don’t strain yourself….cherrrish.” She hissed once more pulling out the shard and chucking it into the tree.

The wound on her arm seemed to heal almost instantly, keeping Cherish in her tail she jumped against the wall looking down at the demon. “I’m fiiiiiine.” She growled as she whipped herself towards the creature and tackled it, taking her claws and digging them into its heart. “Nooooow.....this is what you get for hurting my student and or friend you disgusting creature....” Cerys hissed out and crushed its heart in her palms listening as it screamed out in agony before disappearing into a pile of dust. The kitsune stood up wiping the blood off of her hands and looking over to Cherish, red orbs not glowing anymore but her tail still supported her. “Now that that’s over and done with....let’s get you clean huh?” She said smiling as if nothing happened. She was upset with the other, disobeying what she had said earlier and fighting on her own. “You know better than to think that I would not have come to help you..... am here to help you I am not going to be bothered if you as me for help.” She said releasing her for a moment to only catch her with her shoulder and started to walk with her. 

“Are you a magician? When I looked at you, everyone else disappeared.” “I’ve been feeling a little off today, but you definitely turned me on.” “Can I get a picture of you? I want to show my parents what my spouse looks like.” “Your hand looks heavy. Let me hold it for you.” “When God made you, he was showing off.” “Your lips look so lonely. Especially mine.” “Are you made of Copper and Tellurium? Because you sure are CuTe.” “Would you like to have breakfast in bed tomorrow?” “Are you a thief?
