hii there, eve! i'm an animal crossing: new leaf player. recently, i've been getting into plot resetting. i did loads and loads of research, i even read your blog too. it was really good, but it didn't really help my case. before i went to persuade the villager that i wanted in my friend's town, i've made sure that there are no unwanted 3x3 spaces left, but on the next day when i used the new save file trick, the house moved right on top of a path i coulvde sworn i covered. what should i do?

I also haven't played New Leaf in years, so I'm not too confident in my advice, but a few things come to mind:
- did you update to Welcome Amiibo? Villagers not moving on to paths was an update feature.
- are you sure that the 3x3 plot you've left is valid? Not near a body of water, not too close to other buildings or rocks? There needs to be a 1 square gap, maybe even more around certain buildings (like I said it's been a WHILE so I'm not too sure
- sometimes there are actually invisible tiles that just won't allow anyone to move there. Noone knows why. Try a different spot and see if it works out?
- if your villager is stuck moving into the same spot and nowhere else, it might be that you hecked something up during plot resetting, so there wouldn't be a way to fix it! :(

Building Glitch: How to plant stuff on pavement without hacks.
1. Place a moving/building kit and “imagine” a spot 2. The “imagined” space becomes soft ground you can plant and dig on. 3. Once you save and quit the plants will still be there but the ground will be undiggable again.
How long til that one bitter dude on youtube starts reporting people for “hacking their islands” for this

But I’d still suggest caution for dream islands in case this is reportable since I don’t know if it is
Thing I want in NH pt.3 I want plants that you can use specifically to decorate the water with (like lily pads, cattails and mangrove trees)
You know I don't care if someone thinks that hacking is cheating or whatever but it really peeves me when someone dismisses hacked islands/towns as being uncreative
Like that doesn't make sense to me wouldn't going outside the games rules and boundaries open more choices to be creative?
Do some people even think when they say things? It would make more sense saying you don't like it because you don't like hacking

4th Level Glitch: How to get on the 4th cliff level
1. Make a U cliff with a 2x2 empty space 2. Add 1 half space in the bottom of the empty space 3. Drop a solid item in the middle of the top 2 spaces trapping you 4. Point towards the object and dig at it while quickly scrolling the control stick towards the empty square
Its not the easiest one to do correctly so try it a few tries before you complain you can’t do it
