Maybe I'm just done but I'm having problems understanding the tag directory. I love all the categories, but I have no idea how to select them, as they're not links??? I've been on the diigo website but since you shorten some of the tags I'm unsure how to search it? Any advice would be appreciated!! I love how you're putting so many tags, since stories contain so many elements
Perfectly understandable. The instructions are on the bottom, right where it’s hard to see, rather than on the top. I did this to limit the boxes from scrolling off screen.
First things first, if you are on a mobile device, you must use the “Mobile Version.” The link for it is located at the top right of the tag directory. The drag and drop feature doesn’t work for mobile devices.
If you are not on a mobile device, drag and drop the tags into the list boxes on the right.
Some tags will automatically select other tags for clarity (ex: “modern location” will also select “au”).
If the tag you’re trying to drag and drop won’t let you do it, read the tool tip. Most likely, the tag is located in a different category and what you’re looking at is a duplicate used as a placeholder.
For names not listed under “People” or titles of movies, songs, books, etc. type them in the textbox at the top right, highlight it, then drag and drop into the list box you want.
When done, press the search button underneath the list boxes. If you don’t see this button, please let me know. It means other monitors are not seeing what I see and I will have to fix that.
I’ve built in a 20 tag limit so as not to overwhelm Diigo.
