The trees seemed to stretch on forever vertically, the sky feeling blocked out, light rarely reaching to the ground with how deep some forests seemed to go.

A cabin lay nearby yet the person living inside seemed to be afraid, setting up traps around of all kinds for safety.

He kneels on the ground, trying to set up a net trap with a hum, pizza cutter in hand in case if it trapped him instead first.

— The Mafioso has come to learn the workings and paths of the forest during their times patrolling them. Sure they might still miss somethings, but that's a guarantee when the woods seems to stretch on infinitely.

— One of the men in sunglasses, another in a mask, and one in a bleeding fedora could be spotted wandering around. One of their boys reported that there's a Cabin all the way out here, which... is odd, considering the amount of Cabins near the main one.

Who the hell was here? He quickly grabs his pizza cutter, fumbling in standing to protect himself.

..He chose to call out.

— ❝ Oh, hello? ❞ The Leader calls back, the man in the fedora. His voice's calm yet screams experience. ❝ We're not here for any trouble, just investigating 'round here. ❞

..Was that the mafia? His brain rung off alarm bells, even if they looked different; he had no clue who was who and what would be what, everything could be a threat out here..

He did spot one of them putting away a large hammer from afar, and figured.. What if it was a surprise attack? Planned to kill the delivery boy! Elliot grips his pizza cutter and continues to stare, instead ducking behind a tree and responding.

— Pausing for a moment, the Leader— the one bleeding from his head, hissed a small— almost pained curse under his breath as a hand reached to hold his head. Oh, of course it worsens now out of all places.

— Gesturing for one of his boys to continue talking, the masked one decided to do the honors. Patting their Leader's shoulder, they turned towards the general direction of where the pizza boy's voice is coming from and..

..He did have pizza, and time to make enemies into allies. He hesitantly reaches into his bag and tosses an anomalously fresh slice of pepperoni pizza to the group, a sort of peace offering despite his resistance.

— There's only one person who had pizza. Only one, and they're back at the main cabin with the others, making lunch— dinner? Food, making food with a few others. Well, it wouldn't surprise them if there's more then one, they aren't exactly singular in that sense either.

— Fumbling with the pizza for a moment, "G" thanked the Elliot before turning towards their leader. The Leader, who blinked blankly at the pizza offered, slowly took it.

— ❝ ...Ah. Thank you, sir? ❞ Their voice betrayed their caution, yet... It held familiarity. He holds out the pizza towards the ground as a small, red outline of a bunny appears from behind him. Curiously sniffing before jumping onto the Leader's shoulders.

"..Are you all, uhm, okay? I have this place kind of.. Filled with traps. I have a cabin near here, but it doesn't have much." He chose to take the decently calm and kind route..

— ❝ Ah.. as fine as we can be, we suppose. ❞ The bleeding Leader answered. The one in sunglasses, "M", muttered something sarcastically before being promptly shut up by "G" smacking them on the back of their bald head. With heavy force.

— They both received a side eye by the Leader.

— The bunny, now looking at Elliot with big ol' eyes, climbed onto the Leader's head and leaned over slightly to sniff him. She's curious, it seems! He's unbothered by her little shenanigans, too.

— ❝ Traps, eh? Good on you. Can't be too careful 'round here. ❞ With slight hesitation, they took the other's outstretched hand. It's.. soft, like playdough, but firm. Even though his glove, if it's even is one. Lightly shaking hands.

— There were never any birds in this damned purgatory. No sounds in the forest, no life, just the empty darkness beneath the trees stretching above for a chance at heaven.

— The Leader, the bleeding man himself, narrowed his eyes at the feeling of being watched. It wasn't a new feeling, far from it. The nagging feeling of something watching their every move was all too apparent even in their "home." The forest isn't too different, they'll just have to find that source of discomfort, then they'll be safe.

-Besides.. bunnies aren't worth hurting. The little animal did nothing to her.-

-Surely, the only reason she would be approached. The only purpose for the little companion of the Mafia to be seeing her and not running away.-

-A gentle laugh, as she nudges Ellora ever so slightly. She won't hurt her.-

"I'm following, okay? Lead the way."

-... The eyes are noticed. But for now, ignored. This isn't a hunt, she has no reason to attack.-

— Oh! There she goes! Off into the woods. She pauses halfway and waits for the other.

-She laughs happily, lightly jogging along behind Ellora as the bunny leads the way.-

-Part of her, naturally, wonders where the little creature is leading her. It's been a while since she's been able to enjoy an animal's company.-

-If the eyes follow, it's no concern of hers. Wouldn't surprise her, either.-

-Daisy Bell takes in the surroundings carefully, as her steps slow to a stop. She had never found this clearing before... and she doesn't think Bloxwatch had either, with his eyes.-

-When Ellora disappears, Daisy Bell lowers to sit on her knees. And when she returns, the woman tilts her head.-

-Despite the typical embarassment of being caught, the Bell didn't seem particularily bothered by the voice. One hand reaching to pet Ellora, her own head tilted.-

❝ Though, we suppose it's our own fault for assuming you were nothing outside of what you do. Hypocritical of us, may we say. ❞

— Ellora practically beamed at the attention, relishing in the pets given to her. The Leader's body seemed to freeze for a moment, before relaxing, as if they tried to be angry but... it didn't come through properly. An odd sense of calm holding them hostage.

“hey honey, how’re you doing this lovely night?”

— Shaking their head, they spoke again. A hand unconsciously moving to wipe some of the blood away from their eyes. The liquid doesn't stain his hands. ❝ Apologies, that was.. rude of us. We're fine, this is considered normal by us at this point.
