Who is Satan?

What is he or she?

Since the beginning of Humanity, humans describe a dark Satanic force of nature that shapes our world. The oldest deceptions of Satan are of a Snake like woman or Gorgon who devours worlds and often Satan is portrayed as a woman not as a man. The Persians called Satan Ahriman the deceiver who goes forth to cause chaos and confusion trying to destroy the good that Azura Masda created. The Greeks saw Satan as Gorgon or Medusa a woman that causes destruction where ever she goes, while the Indians just saw Satan as some sort of dark karmic force that does not conform to the order that Brahma created. A being of pure dark Karma that can't be argued or reasoned with. The Jewish people often described Satan as Lucifer Lord of Light who fell from heaven after a failed rebellion against God. Others say there are many Satans and that Satan is just a title the Dark master has. In Truth Satan is a Fallen Angel the best of his kind Cherubim serpentine Angels of God who were charged with guarding creation. Rather than do his duty Satan decided to try and take over the natural order that God has brought forth. The Bible has many strange cryptic verses regarding Satan calling him-her a prince of Rome, the whore of Babylon once again Satan is described as Feminine. In Sumerian Mythology a great snake like woman called Tiamat had to be defeated in order for the earth to know some peace. Some verses of the Bible describe Satan as a harlot or the Assyrian, my personal favorite the idol Shepard who leaves his flock behind. Satan is described as trying to become God and place himself above God and all that is holy. A Rebel against the natural order that God hath established an enemy of not only Christians but also of Pagans and non-believers.

However Satan does not describe himself or herself as Against God she is often labeled as the Anti-Christ someone who claims to be Christian yet is not of the faith. One thing is for certain Lust, War, Greed, Hunger and every sin you know seems to stem from Satan.
