The dragon's lair was a cavern of echoes and shadows, the within thick with the scent of damp stone and something older. Something primal, something metallic and wild, like the memory of blood. The torch in Gale's hand flickered, casting long, wavering shadows over the walls. The runes carved into the stones pulsing faintly in the dim light as if alive.

He reached out, fingers tracing the grooves of the ancient script. The stone was warm underneath his fingertips. The moment his skin made contact, the world around him dissolved like smoke.

In the blink of an eye, he no longer stood in front of the wall but instead at the edge of a stone basin formed by nature. The water inside was still and black as midnight. Steam rose from the water, carrying with it the copper tang of blood. The firelight danced across the surface, painting everything in shades of gold and crimson.

And rising from the depths of the pool, his skin glistening with dragon's blood, was Bucky. Covered in the crimson liquid as if he had showered in it. The firelight caught the curves of his muscles, the old scars that marred his body from years of battle, the way his curls clung to his forehead, wet and dripping with the monster's blood. He turned, his blue eyes locking onto Gale's with a smirk that was equal parts challenge and invitation.

"Took you long enough, Buck," Bucky drawled, his voice rough with amusement - and something else, something darker. He crooked a finger, beckoning Gale forwards. "Get in."

Gale didn't hesitate. His breath hitched as he stepped forwards, his bare foot touching the surface of the pool. He expected water, but instead his toes sank into something thick and warm. Blood. The dragon's blood, still liquid, still warm, lapping at his skin like a living thing. It coated his legs as he stepped deeper, the heat of it seeping into his bones, the scent of it filling his lungs. He should have turned away, should've been horrified, but he didn't.

His clothes were gone, though he couldn't remember taking them off, and the blood clung to his skin, slick and heavy. Bucky's hands found his hips, pulling him close, their bodies pressing together.

Gale's hands trembled as he reached out, his palms pressing against Bucky's chest, feeling the steady thud of his heart beneath his touch. Underneath the stickiness of the blood, Bucky's skin was hot, his muscles tense under Gale's touch.

Bucky lunged forwards, their lips crashing together in a kiss that was all teeth and hunger. The taste of blood and something uniquely Bucky filled his mouth, the sensation surreal but intoxicating. Gale groaned, his fingers tangling in Bucky's hair as he kissed him back just as desperately.

The blood sloshed around them as Bucky lifted him, his hands firm on Gale's thighs.

"Ride me," he growled, his voice rough and breathless.

Gale didn't hesitate. He wrapped his legs around Bucky's waist, the water buoying him as he sank onto him, the stretch familiar and perfect. Bucky's hands gripped his hips, guiding him, his thumbs digging into the muscle as Gale began to move, slow at first, then harder.

The blood sloshed with every thrust, the liquid swirling around them. The firelight cast their shadows against the cavern walls, twisted and elongated.

"Fuck," Bucky groaned, his head tipping back, his hands sliding up to Gale's chest, his thumbs brushing over his nipples. "Just like that."

Gale's movements grew frantic, his breath coming in ragged gasps. He leaned in again, his mouth crashing into Bucky's, their tongues tangling as he rocked his hips, taking what he wanted. Bucky met every movement with a sharp thrust, his hands gripping Gale's ass, pulling him closer.

"You're mine," Bucky gasped, his voice raw, his hands gripping Gale's hips hard enough o bruise. "Say it."

Gale's back arched, his body tightening around Bucky as pleasure coiled low in his gut. "Yours," he repeated, speaking the word into Bucky's skin.

Bucky's hands slid up Gale's back, pulling him down for another bruising kiss as Gale came, his body shuddering, the liquid around them churning. Bucky followed with a groan, his body tensing beneath Gale's, his release spilling inside him.

For a moment, there was only the sound of their ragged breathing, the blood lapping against their skin. Gale's forehead rested against Bucky's shoulder, his body still humming with the aftershocks of pleasure. Bucky's hands rested at his neck, fingers tangled in Gale's hair as he pulled him in for another kiss, slower this time, deeper.

Then the vision shattered, the cavern snapping back into focus. Gale was on his knees, his hands still pressed against the rune-carved wall. His body was trembling, his cock ached, and his lips still tingling with the ghost of Bucky's kiss. He pulled his hands away, his fingers smeared with something dark - blood or perhaps just the remnants of the vision.

Behind him, he heard Bucky's low chuckle, felt his warm breath against his ear.

"See something you liked, Buck?" Bucky's hands slid around Gale's waist, pulling him back against his chest, his lips brushing against the shell of Gale's ear. "Good," his voice was a warm rumble, and Gale had to suppress a shudder running through his body. "Because I'm not done with you yet."
