My headcanon for how Carlos proposed to Cecil has always been either a) he called into the radio station one day and proposed live on air so that all of Night Vale knew how much he loved Cecil, or b) he drove Cecil to the Arby's parking lot on the anniversary of that night and proposed under the lights in the sky, but both of those scenarios are NOTHING compared to the idea that he proposed by saying "Cecil, I think you're neat. Very neat." And then he pulls out a ring
obsessed with kris using things the player can't see to communicate with other characters. drawing on the window in the diner. 80% as much honey on toast as usual. silly faces and nodding/shaking their head. changing the tone of what we make them say to make it clear that they mean it differently. i love that it's shown time and time again that kris ISN'T apathetic about anything. kris wants friends. kris has boundaries and wants mom to know that what she did made them feel bad. kris wants the people in their life to be happy and kris wants affection. i love kris deltarune
I think the funniest thing Toby Fox could do is not have Papyrus show up in Deltarune at all and then in the post credits after you you beat the game you'd see a message appear that says "you can now play with Papyrus" and then he'd be retroactively inserted into every single chapter like some kind of new game+
