Okay so we all know that the number one comeback for dislestia shippers is that fluttercord is pedophilia because he’s 1000′s years old and she isn’t. Her being a mortal and him being an immortal. So they say it’s creepy for an old man to be with a young adult (even though he isn’t old, he’s just mismatched colors and immortal). Okay so now that you have no arguments left but the only thing to do is border fluttercord shippers for the silly “age gap” argument. Why do you dislestia shippers throw such a temper tantrum about the age gap romance but you never once said anything about like “oh shit he’s much older than her!” wouldn’t it also be extremely weird for such an old guy to hang out with a younger girl ALL the fucking time and practically worship the ground she walks on and keep in mind she is no damn child. She is a grown women as the writers, developer and show already established. If you truly think he is so old, wouldn’t it be weird just for him to hang out with her like that in general? Like I never saw some 80 year old guy hanging out with a 20 year old girl all the time alone in private constantly or out on the streets and practically worshiping the ground she walks on.  

Now that we got that out of the way

Another argument could be said for the moment like. Why is it that (if discord is such an old man according to their logic even though he has barely visible eyebags and nothing else besides just mismatched colors and a full head of black thick hair) they can bring up the age gap thing or “how weird it is” if it’s about fluttershy and discord shipping but NONE of them ever bought up the fact that apparently “such an older man” **CATCALLED HOTWHISTLES** someone who is NOWHERE near his age in dungeons and discords? but is obviously a grown adult herself just like flutters over there **(keep in mind she owns her own house, has a job on her own, does dangerous missions, is knowledgable, makes her own money, RUNS a school NOT attends it, has a YOUNGER brother who is a grown adult himself and from the looks of it, attends college. which is just more evidence that shows she is an adult like all the other main base characters who have the same layout body shape which are initially called “adults” because we know what the layout for teens looks like)**

And the finale argument debunked

We both know they’re immortals, that I get. but why is it if they basically insult his appearance for being “elderly”? that they’re perfectly fine with him being with someone who looks SO much younger than he is. I mean you don’t sit there and watch people call celestia and luna “old ladies” just because of their immortality. If they are all around the same age that means discord would have stopped aging as soon as they did which would initially make him just as young as they are?

The fact that these are the same people that call out the age gap on fluttercord all the time because they have nothing else left to argue for their ship about or have any points proven is ridiculous. 

Immortal and mortal couple relationships have been show quite often in cartoons or tv.

Both shippers are guilty of a lot and no side is “better” then the other. but my simple point being is that most people who see fluttercord upfront who don’t even care for the show or kids that see this don’t even think of the age gap and have sincerely predicted on multiple occasions that the fluttercord ship is a crushy thing and have not seen it like they do because it’s just a cartoon and those “facts” made up by dislestia shippers about our fluttercord shipping are incorrect in the first place. It’s like the anti- bronies who take ONE look at it and judge it way to easily without going any further into detail about it.

But again these points are debunking yours and our ship is not some weird creepy old man thing that you think it is.

You enjoy your ship and we enjoy our ship because it’s a very focused on chemistry and close bond in the show and if you can respect this then idk go fuck yourself.
