Sonic Murder Drones Fusion ENGAGE!!!!!

A prim and proper lady who couldn't be more than 35, and a little worker drone that she called "daughter".

Of course, everyone calls their worker drones different things, but she treated her like a daughter too. If you ask her about it, then she'll say that a few years ago, she heard crying by a nearby dumpster.

An Untrained Neural Network, improperly discarded by the factory nearby.

She went in and asked what the issue was, and they said it wasn't hitting the right benchmarks for its destined future: construction. It didn't help that its sentience developed too early, and it began asking who its parents were.

She argued that, drone or no, they had the right to know where they come from. They shooed her out after that, muttering about overemotional women and whatnot.

And she's been taking care of little Cream ever since. She had always wanted a child, but the combination of running her Chao sanctuary and her husband's death made her give up on ever reaching that dream. Finding her when she did was like a miracle.

Then she'll introduce you to her. Cream really is a delight, and if it wasn't for her robotic appearance, you would've been fooled into thinking shes an actual child.

Rosy: In order for her code to not be "damaged" due to lack of social interaction, the scientists gave her college level textbooks. She only skims them tho bc she finds them boring. Elise introduced her to fairy tales and romances and she hasn't looked back.

Blaze: Reads the textbooks provided bc shes a NEEERRRRRDDDDDDDD and ENJOYS LEARNING BOOOOOOOOO

.......sometimes she takes a peek at Rosy and Elise's books tho. Purely to understand whats going on in her head. No other reason.

Silver: Didn't want to read textbooks at first bc he didn't think it was worth his time. Thankfully Blaze managed to convince him of the benefits of learning about the world, and he relented.

Then Rosy & Elise told him their fairy tales were basically history books bc they took place Once upon a time and the time itself didn't need to be specific, so he reads them with the same vivacity as the textbooks. He knows they're lying, but he wants to make them smile.

Sonic: Once he found places where people were chill about free worker drones, he spent all his time at libraries. He likes reading in general, but he loves adventure books. It makes him feel like he's been sucked into another world.....

Cream: Vanilla actually knows how to take care of developing AI's, so she teaches her one grade at a time. Shes currently in the 3rd grade level, but she hasn't read Charlottes Web yet.

Tails: He knew enough to perform basic customer service before getting "laid off" due to a very rude customer chucking their drink at him. Now he spends his time infiltrating colleges and trade schools so he can learn without the threat of disassembly.

Shadow: As the first AI, ppl just kinda threw books and teaching plans at him and hoped it stuck (it probably would if he cared). Maria helped make it interesting tho, which is how she found her calling as a professor<3

But what the public DOESN'T know is that she was raised on humanity's first space colony, one that was shut down due to inability to sustain life. Yes, this Professor Willow was in reality Maria Robotnik, one of many assumed dead when an engine failure put an end to this Ark.

What not even her relatives know is that she was friends with the first sentient AI, one that promised new technological and medical breakthroughs (and delivered in one aspect). It was called Serial Designation R, but she named him Shadow, and they were the others only friend for several years.

A secret government organization brought an end to that by inadvertently granting her only wish: Getting to walk upon the Earth.

You see, the Ark was more than just a colony; it was a laboratory, one commissioned by the government to find the secret to eternal life and create the perfect super soldier. Gerald, Maria's grandfather, went on board with the project to find a way to cure her mysterious illness.

He was the one credited for breakthroughs in AI technology, but he wasn't alone. A demon from beyond the stars gave him the blueprints, and by the time Gerald figured out its intentions, it was too late. The gift of eternal life was kept from man for a reason after all.

Rumor spread of these illicit activities, and Gun quickly raided the place, cleaning up the mess Gerald made and taking his research for themselves.

Maria and Shadow managed to get away in time, and they lived in hiding for a while, as did others who escaped, and finally forged lives of their own on the Earth's first space settlement, Solar 5.

It was there that Maria became a professor, found love, and started a family. Her world grew beyond that little room in the Space Colony Ark. Shadow grew aimless. He was created for her salvation, and right now she is healthy and beloved by all.

Im so glad you asked bc I've been wondering how to talk abt that.

Sonic is part of it, as a free Worker Drone who travels the world. He was there on the day when they were experimenting with Rosy and found that her AI couldn't keep Solaris under control. He kept her calm while they extracted the code and locked it behind several firewalls.

He visited a lot since then, sometimes alone, and sometimes with Tails (a Zombie drone who rebooted normally and became an expert in drone modification). Elise and the others would be regaled with his grand adventures, and Rosy wanted so desperately to come with, but she was still valuable as a test subject, and Elise was so alone all the time, and she couldn't just leave her.

Silver and Blaze were good to her of course, but they were more like older siblings, doting on her and ensuring she had what she needed, and they couldn't hang out a lot since they were away most of the time for testing. With Rosy, Elise felt like she could goof off and be a normal girl.

When Sonic arrived on that fateful night, he found only Elise, blank eyed and surrounded by carnage. When she saw him, the horribleness of the situation hit her like a load of bricks and she broke down. She refused to talk about it, but he could piece together what went wrong.

Rosy was gone. So were Silver, Blaze, and the Duke. Elise was alone.

Shadow's also here. He's a precursor to the worker drones of that age, but his origins weren't all rooted in science. Rumor has it that his creators communed with a demonic being from beyond the stars in order to make him as lifelike as possible.

But these rumors were silenced when he made a friend. She was so gentle, and full of life. There was no way something originating from a demon could be friends with her.

Of course, the reason for his creation was the same, that being to heal Maria from her illness and create the ultimate life form, or at least figure out the blueprints.

His connection with the overall plot is that his code, or copies of it, was used to "knock out" Solaris enough to seal it within Rosy and gang.

Shadow has no idea abt this of course (and if drones had rights he would sue them for breach of privacy), but Mephiles knows, and has been nursing a grudge against him and Elise (the one who used said code) for all these years.

When Mephiles reboots the DDs years later, they don't remember much of their past life, only the long battles they had against Solaris's code. So they have no qualms against killing their former friends if it means "saving the world from Iblis".

Cream is also here, as a sweet worker drone who acts as a surrogate daughter for Vanilla, an older lady who couldn't have children. Cheese is a baby worker drone similar to Beau without all the murder tendencies.

Silver and Blaze were created for that purpose. To be a substitute Mephiles. But unfortunately, it wasn’t a clean cut. Some of Mephile’s code still remained within that power, codenamed Iblis, bc the scientists really liked the Arabian Nights and thought it sounded cool.

So, when they tried to integrate it into Silver and Blaze’s coding, it revolted. Mephiles’s coding multiplied within them until it took full control.

What everyone didn’t know was that Rosy had managed to retain a lot more of Solaris than they thought. Enough to know its weaknesses. So they fought, and she managed to seal it within the three of them. All of it. Then she shut them all down.

Elise helped her with the more physical aspects while Rosy did the mental stuff.

And as a Disassembly Drone:3

Realizing that they could potentially use Time Travel to stop the Absolute Solver (and fix other past mistakes) he started Project Solaris, named after the Sun God of Soleanna’s mythos.

Serial Designation M was the first test subject but, unfortunately, Solaris didn’t upload properly. So rather than try again with her, the Duke remade her into a little friend for Elise (who called her Rosy), and made some sturdier drones that could handle the virus’s power, code named Silver and Blaze.

Elise met them when she was exploring the mansion with Rosy, and they became friends too. The duke let this go on so that empathy could be naturally integrated into the two drone’s systems.

After all, a weapon who has empathy for humanity would be easier to control.

Each drone was created with their future powers in mind. Silver was made to contain Solaris’s mental powers (psychokinesis), and Blaze was made to contain its physical powers (fire and speed). Their creators figured spreading the powers out would take less of a toll on their physical forms.

What they didn’t expect about Solaris was that he’s sentient.
