thing I am proud of: when the doctor started going on a weird rant about long covid not being real I paused and listened to his nonsense for a bit and then very calmly said, in a polite and curious tone, "you don't believe in post-viral illness?" and he like. stammered a bunch and was like OH WELL I'M NOT SAYING -- I DON'T...I just think ..! and backpedaled awkwardly while I just sat there like :3c interesting :3c thank you so much for clarifying your stance on this :3c

Some positive news: There really WAS a cat summoned for jury duty back in 2010. Turns out the error was quickly corrected and the cat did NOT actually have to travel to the courthouse. But at least we can enjoy the fact that a papereork glitch did once try to give a cat jury duty XD

Very funny but also very poignant how, like, Kris’s life is already such an Existential Nightmare Shitshow, with them being controlled by an Amoral Time God and dragged into life-threatening situations in Metaphysical Surrealist Dream Realms on a daily basis and Being Doomed by the Narrative by a seemingly Unbreakable Prophecy, not to mention the whole Evil Mysterious Phone Voice and the conspiracy they seem to be embroiled in… and yet, all the super-ordinary Teenage Drama stuff they also have to deal with feels just as harrowing and difficult. I think it really speaks to the strength of the character writing, even for someone as mysterious as Kris, that they can go through Horrors Beyond Comprehension on a daily basis, but them being jealous of Susie/Noelle feels like an equally important tragedy. Truly encapsulating the teenaged experience.
