"i know about it, yes.” jacen nodded as he responded. “but i don’t know how you know me or my name.” he added. as far as the male could remember the other was not someone that he knew. but it wasn’t exactly the first time that someone had known him that he hadn’t. though with the events that night it felt more strange. “how exactly do you know me?”

“infamous?” jacen questioned as he looked towards the other. “what exactly have you heard about me?” never once did the brunette think that anyone really knew anything of him. always thought of himself as a random nobody. especially with the fact that he’d been in washington for as long as he could remember without really having so much of a family really. what could there have even been known about him? 

"i am actually.” he answered as he turned to face the woman. not expecting it to be her asking him if he was enjoying the night. “what about you?” he added in politeness. not that he was entirely sure of what else to talk to the president about really. 

sneering at the mention of his unfortunate mistake after he’d gotten involved with the red head. the last thing he’d wanted was to be reminded how he blindly did all of her bidding because he thought he had meant something to the vampire. “that weakling insisted she wasn’t manipulative.” he added under his breath. “did i miss you?” he laughed as he looked at the red head. “no.” he added sternly. “i want nothing to do with you.”

“you’re the one that approached me last time.” he huffed for a second. had he mistaken her for someone else. he was sure it was her that had called him dad before. “nevermind, i must have the wrong person. sorry.”

“that’s really impressive.” abby smiled softly. sewing a dress from scratch was certainly something that the blonde would not have been capable of in any way. “thank you though.” she added politely. “you’ve got really good skills if you made that yourself. if i had done that i’d probably be a walking disaster.” she laughed momentarily.

“yeah that’s me.” the male spoke as he looked at the familiar face. seo jun didn’t really know what it was about the other that made him stop, but he wanted to know more, though the question she asked now was something that felt more common. “i have not been on one like this. i’ve been on a fishing boat of sorts, but nothing fancy like this.”

“uncle.” he repeated despite the fact that it wasn’t sounding all that impossible after some of the other’s he had met in washington. given the fact that he’d apparently married ginny, who came with a lot of siblings he was sure that there were a lot of nieces and nephews that he was bound to meet. however it didn’t change the fact that it was a little strange to hear someone practically his own age referring to him as their uncle. “i’m sorry, i haven’t met you before. not that i don’t believe you, but how am i your uncle?”

“thanks, you too.” the blonde smiled as she looked at the other. “it’s going decently well.” the blonde answered. at least it was better than the ones she’d had to attend when she’d first gone home with harper. “what about you?”

“excuse me? how do you know my name?” the blonde questioned as she looked at the other. was he going to be someone that was friends with the others that believed they had known her? he wasn’t someone she remembered either. “why does it matter when i got here?”

“lim ju-kyung?” the male almost couldn’t believe his eyes as he stared at the female. thinking that his ending up in washington was a mere coincidence, there was no way that he had been expecting to run into a familiar face. and be it during the time that everyone was trapped on a boat with a murderer. “when did you get here? are you okay?” / @sunsray​ ( ju-kyung )

the turn of events that night aboard the ship were definitely more entertaining than him having to pretend that he wasn’t surrounded by countless beating hearts. but he wasn’t all that interested in being involved in trying to figure out the story of what had happened either, rather that he wanted the party to be over so he could be away finally. but he still couldn’t leave yet. “i’m not really interested in hearing about it.” he shut the other down as he watched them begin to speak. / @lcxstsouls​ ( oliver ) 

“well this is a much more interesting event than i thought it was going to be.” the red head spoke as she turned to face the familiar face. “who do you think did the deed?” / @mirrvr​ ( genevieve )

the last thing that jacen could have expected out of the night was the discovery of the body. being that this was just supposed to be another date with the girl he’d been seeing for a little. it certainly wasn’t looking like a very good one with everything happening. “well this was not what i had planned.” he mumbled to the person closest to him. / @rvkybusincv​ ( han )

attending a big event like this wasn’t something that jacen did often. nor did he know how to go about being at one. maybe he was a little better when he was with his date but he wasn’t about to hog her from her family and friends. which left the male to have to walk about the ship alone for some time. maybe it was more that he didn’t really know a lot of people in the first place that he felt awkward. deciding to get a drink he walked towards the bar. “excuse me.” he spoke as he found his way in. / @dcpravities​ ( luke )

jacen never thought that he’d actually remember the female, but something about her referring to him as dad had definitely stuck in his mind. not that he believed that he could have been her father. admittedly he was a little shocked to run into her again at a giant event like this. “are you going to refer to me as dad again?” / @tragcdysewn​ ( alanna )​

seeing the president at the valentines event wasn’t really something that the male was expecting. or at least he hadn’t expected that he’d have been able to practically walk up to the woman. yet there he was only a few feet away from her and not being sure of how he had even ended up in the vicinity of her. definitely not planning to actually walk up to her as he didn’t really have anything to say to her. but he couldn’t stop watching her. “huh?” he said as he thought he heard someone speaking to him. / @mcrcki​ ( leia )
