I can translate my writing process to other work outside of class with internships and resumes. I have’t yet used this since I’m not looking for extra circulars but I have started ideas to execute. But the time have used the writing process was for my UNI research paper. Usually I would skip the outline but decided to use one. It made the process less harder and less rushed. 

The most challenging assignment I have done this semester was probably the rhetorical essay. I have never written one even in high school so learning this new writing style was eye-opening and different. I had to re-write it because of my confusion but that was okay. Due to the mistakes I have made with my writing in all of our assignments, I feel as though my writing has gotten better. It is more start to the point instead of filing it with pointless words. As I said in the beginning, the rhetorical essay helped me learn a new writing style and I think it helped improved my writing.  

Humanities as major is just as beneficial as a STEM major for med school. More admissions look for humanities major since it says a lot about a person. And people in humanities tend to live happier lives in their specialty and their personal lives. No, the argument is similar to the original argument but does expand on their topic. 

It’s important to evaluate the source because having an uncrediable source leaves you having false information. And spreading that false information to your audience. The most important thing that I learned from the reading is that, that articles should provide citations. This knowledge changed how I read or think about an article because, I would know that the information is reliable because of its backed up information.  It also helps looking for other sources that present similar information. 

Overtime using the replika app with different problems will you eventually keep getting the same responses over and over with different problems. Since the replika app is a robotic chatbot how do we know replika is connecting with just you on a personal level with real Reponses to your needs and not just a basic answer to anyone's problems.

I found this image off of google. The audience for this infographic would be environmental activists and just ordinary citizens who need to be aware of what is going on with the earth we live on. The contrast of colors is important because the orange really stands out from the green. The font is very tiny and a lot to take in so that is not the best. This image employs rhetorical appeals such as logos by using facts throughout the image. This infographic reflects the understanding the effects of global warming and the ways of prevention. 

In my article, “How Surveillance Could Save Lives Amid Public Health Crisis”, Sidney Fussell includes a few quotes from politicians and other creditable sources about the issue of contact tracking. One of the quotes that stuck out most was “What’s really important is for the government to be really clear in articulating what specific public health goals it’s seeking to accomplish,”. She had given the credit to the speaker and spoke about her credibility. She uses these quotes to show both sides of the argument.

I used to always hate doing peer-review work in class. I thought that if mine wasn’t as good as the person’s who was grading mine, I would get judged for it.  But now, I realized that peer-review for papers is super important. Getting another pair of fresh eyes to read your paper can help you see the strengths and weaknesses in it that you wouldn’t otherwise see yourself. The suggestions I like to hear are ones about how I can make a sentence or paragraph stronger. If that means taking out unnecessary information or adding in what’s missing, it really helps me to see what I need to focus on when writing. Since I usually don’t make grammatical errors, people who try and find those types in my paper even though I meant to put a comma or parentheses in can be frustrating. If they don’t know how to correctly peer review and only focus on grammar, that doesn’t help me very much. The peer-reviews that are the least helpful of all time are the ones when all they do is give good feedback, instead of where I can improve. Some good feedback is nice if I did particularly well on something, but I can’t become a better writer if everything is just “good”.
