Hiiii it’s been a bit.
Not dead, don’t worry. Sorry for like disappearing and not checking this account for monthsssss. I’ve had no real desire to work on EA, if I’m being fully honest. If I do again, I’ll resume it, if I don’t, then I won’t. I understand this isn’t a very nice answer to receive, but in the last few months my life has gotten a lot bigger than it used to. And I’m okay with that. I’m a lot happier now in general.
I’ve been working on my novel more. It’s nowhere near any sort of completion, but it’s been really fun to make. Been making and playing with a lot more general OCs too. Those of you on Artfight will get to see them once July rolls around.
Here’s a weird update: I draw predominantly with lasso tool now? Like pretty much all lasso tool art. I never really liked doing line art, so I’m having a lot more fun drawing in this style now than I did before. I’ll include some sort of lasso tool piece I did at the bottom of this.
I’ve gotten really into CDs too. All this stuff about AI has gotten me thinking about how much I value physical media. So I cleaned off my old CD player and dragged it to my dorm, and it’s been really nice. I feel like I appreciate music a lot more now.
Speaking of AI stuff: Scratch. This is the real reason I’m writing this message. Regarding the recent updates I’ve come to a decision. I don’t want to unshare all of my art, because I know how much it has mattered to people over the years. And I’m not Netflix, I don’t think it’s fair to remove something without the consent of those who it meant something to. One of the many reasons I don’t like digital media as much as physical. But I also don’t want to have my art fed into any sort of AI algorithm.
So. I’m not going to accept the terms and conditions.
What this means is I’ve essentially decided to soft lock myself from my own account. I can’t use it if I don’t accept the terms and conditions, and I refuse to do that. So, unless that policy is one day reversed, I will never log back into the MeadowFoot_ToPH account.
The only issue is getting the craft contest winners their prizes. I’m devising a plan for this, and I’ll post more about it soon hopefully. I might be needing some of yalls help.
That’s the super exciting Meadow update lol. Thanks for the support over the years. This might be a goodbye, but I’m a difficult fish to get rid of. I’ll be around.
