Two years serving in the ranks of Civil Defense, working with burning hearts and fearless souls.
We rescue children from beneath the rubble with our bare hands - without tools, without equipment - risking our lives to preserve what remains of life amid the destruction.
Every day we go out not knowing if we will return, for the occupation's aircraft make no distinction between those who carry weapons and those who carry compassion.
We are targeted while giving aid, chased by fire while trying to extinguish it, yet we do not retreat - because behind every cry for help, there is a soul that deserves to live.
Two years of bombing, destruction, and endless nights... yet we continue to prove that our humanity is stronger than their bullets, and that our duty to save lives is a mission that will never fade, no matter how fierce the flames become.
