Hi, everyone! We’re coming to you with a new update regarding our sites location! We will be re-branding as a South Korean site! 

To reiterate, there has been some issues regarding the location of the site. While we're trying not to offend anyone with global politics we do feel the need to address this. Korea is not the same as Japan, however both are located in the East. Many sites never meet expectations of what realistic life is like. We are not going to be one of those sites as well unfortunately, this is role play where you're allowed to envision a fantasy without conforming to every day life.

For us, we prefer not to confine writers or prohibit their muse. So we've decided to re-brand as a South Korean city site. Originally our purpose was to be based in Japan with the help of a staff member who implied they had intensive knowledge but ultimately it made more sense to relocate. Thanks for those who have stayed with us and we truly appreciate your patience! If anyone has anymore questions feel free to contact us, we're a group of very understanding and mature individuals who come from different ethnic backgrounds.

With that being said we are also allowing an additional two face claims bring the total to (7) faces.

While we want to try to stay true to the realism of Japan, we don't want to tell people what and who they can use in regards to face claims, and currently in the rp world there is an increase in the use of korean faces. However, as an admin team, we are currently deliberating on the location of the site as this is an important topic for us.

espoir lofts is an eight floor apartment in the heart of shinjuku. constructed rather recently, it was made to be accessible to everyone; from locals to foreigners, upper-class and lower-class alike. being partnered up with a language tutoring business and not far from a number of universities makes it an ideal location for students and workers from all corners of the world. it’s already become a bustling community in its short time being open its floors (and our member groups!) consist of:

Floor One (F-1)

floor one is espoir lofts’ most low-cost floor, though that doesn’t come without its drawbacks. while the rooms are available at astonishingly low price points for central tokyo, they are incredibly cramped, close together, and frequently have multiple people put in them for no extra space. floor one is great for people who can’t afford or don’t need a bigger space, while still getting all the benefits of living in the building!

Floors Two and Three (F-2, F-3)

floors two and three are a slight upgrade from the first, though not by much. these are almost always two-or-more to a room, but you’re not going to be totally packed in like sardines in a can! you’re generally going to be getting a slight upgrade in space and amenities when you stay on floors two or three, but of course at a slight increase in price as well.

Floors Four to Six (F-4, F-5, F-6)

floors four to six are generally similar, with each ascending floor having a small increase in price from the one below. these are your average space, run-of-the mill rooms, providing comfortable if expensive living. they are the most popular choices for living at espoir lofts, as they’re equipped with everything you’d need to be comfortable while staying at the complex. a popular option is to pair up with roommates to cut the costs.
