“Oh, yeah that makes sense. Why would you wave to me? You don’t even know me. I’m Bambi by the way. It’s nice to meet you,” Bambi managed to stutter out. He always got nervous in any social situation-especially when he’s just embarrassed himself in front of a pretty girl.

“I....thought you were someone else.” she admitted, the friendly smile still on her lips as she looked at the man. He seemed harmless, and a little nervous too. “Esmeralda. It’s nice to meet you too....even if it was by accident.” she joked playfully, still smiling.

“Really? Not a lot of people know about it,” She gave Esmeralda an impressed smile. Herbalism wasn’t the most… believed in sciences to say the least but there was a good number who were aware of it. “That? It’s just a bunch of notes I’ve taken on aloe vera and how it could be used to help wounds and the like. I highly recommend that people have a few leaves kept in their dorms, very helpful.”

Esmeralda smiled back. “When I was younger my family used them.” Back in the happier days of her youth most members of their troupe preferred the use of herbal remedies instead of going to a hospital. They’d even had their own member of the troupe their to treat them properly. “What does it do, exactly?” she asked curiously, emerald eyes shifting from the paper to look at the girl. 

“Musicals weren’t made to be read, they were made to be seen.”

“Well, yeah....but they need to be read by the actors.”

“Nice to meet you, Esme, so were you reading for school or just entertainment?”

“I mean the most recent commercial was for men’s perfume. and honestly it smelled like straight up lizard pee. It was on tv for a while like a year ago when it aired I’m not sure if you’ve seen it. It was kinda hard to miss though.” He said shrugging dissmissing the comment as if they were talking about what they had for breakfast. “I say watch the movie because there is two different versions. One with Leonardo Dicaprio and the other is the better one because the guy who plays Romeo looks like Zac Efron. I think its easier to watch the movies because its literally the same lines verbatum. So you can re read it or read then watch. But it makes sense.” He said flipping through the pages. “Well, what have you read so far that you understand?” He asked, handing her back her book. 

The comment of lizard pee had Esmeralda laughing, shaking her head in amusement. “I’ve never owned a television, so I wouldn’t of seen it I’m afraid.” But the fact he’d been on television at all was impressive to her, and the fact it didn’t seem to have gone to his head. “Thank you...I’ll try looking the movies up online once I finish reading it.” she said gratefully, taking the book back as he handed it back to her. “Well....there was a party....and the two children of the feuding families hate each other met.” she said uncertainly, trying to find of more information. “And they’ve begun to fall for each other.”

“I have got to stop ordering coffee here… it never tastes right.”

“You’ve never read a musical before?”

“Not fully, no. Only the scenes we rehearse. I’m trying to read some at the moment though.”

“Oh don’t look so concerned. Just a bit of incense is all it is, completely harmless and actually rather sssssoothing if you give it time.” Kaa said finally placing the drum down to let the incense burn.

She couldn’t help the laugh that escaped her lips. “Sort of? If we’re on the same page then yes, I am going to be a plant doctor. I’m majoring in Herbalism, so I’m a medical student that specializes in natural remedies.” Sally reached for one of her notes, sliding it over. The page had scribbles of plants and their uses and functions towards people.

“Oh!” Esmeralda exclaimed, a small smile crossing her lips at her own embarrassment. “So you’ll be training how to help people with herbal medicine.....I’ve heard of that.” she nodded, looking down at the piece of paper. “Though....I don’t know what much of that is.”

“I’m Elsa, Elsa Van Helsing,” she said, holding out her hand.

“Esmeralda Agnes.....” she smiled, shaking the others hand. “But you can call me Esme, if you want.”
