Turovskogo is a minimal interior located in Minsk, Belarus, designed by Kanstantsin Remez. The idea of the project was to create a minimalist space for a comfortable stay of two people. The common room includes several areas at once: a kitchen area, a TV area, a dining area and an office. The design is based on a combination of ash – colored oak panels made locally, white volumes and soft textiles. A bright accent of the common room is the kitchen island, designed specifically for this project.

Borden Residence is a minimal home located in Toronto, Canada, designed by StudioAC. The three-story renovation is situated on a narrow lot, which compelled the architects to emphasize the tall ceilings to visually expand the space. The designers wanted to maintain an intimate setting, thus extended the flooring material to a counter-height wrap along the walls to instill a feeling of being nestled in. These wooden walls also serve as concealed storage, with one section of the home utilizing the wooden perimeter as cabinetry for the kitchen in one section, and form the fireplace in the next, all within a single length.
