Ti ho cercato nella bellezza ed eleganza delle cose, quelle dove si costruisce l’armonia e la grazia simulando la natura, rubandole simmetrie e colori, le alternanze di luci ed ombre, gli arabeschi dalle inesauribili curve ed i vuoti infiniti, cercando in un rigoglioso imitare, di creare un assoluto sublime, mistico e temporaneo.
Ti ho cercato dove gli uomini hanno concepito l’assoluto, dove la perfezione è diventata quotidianità perché nei dolori del giorno vi fosse un angolo dove la pace si materializzasse e fosse possibile vederla, toccarla, sentirne la consolante concretezza per capirne l’essenza e viverne la forza.
Ti ho cercata dove la ricchezza è solo un mezzo per arrivare oltre la triste semplicità del giorno e riconosce quanto vive oltre le umane faccende, quanto lontano l’uomo possa arrivare, rendendo reali i suoi sogni, dando forma alle sue illusioni, creando il bello con il nulla.
Ancora ti cerco, errando nei campi inariditi dal sole d’agosto in cui mi riassumo, nei boschi fatti di alberi ed altari barocchi, tra spiagge di sabbia rosata a stanze dorate dai mille specchi. Ogni volta è stupore, ogni volta è emozione, ogni volta è vita.
I looked for you in the beauty and elegance of things, those where harmony and grace are built by simulating nature, stealing symmetries and colors, the alternation of lights and shadows, the arabesques with inexhaustible curves and infinite voids, looking in a luxuriant to imitate, to create the absolute Sublime, mystical and temporary.
I have looked for you where men have conceived the absolute, where perfection has become everyday because in the pains of the day there was a corner where peace materialized and it was possible to see it, touch it, feel its consoling concreteness to understand its essence and live its force.
I looked for you where wealth is only a means to get beyond the sad simplicity of the day and recognizes what is living beyond human affairs, how far man can go, making his dreams real, giving shape to his illusions, creating beauty with nothing.
I am still looking for you, wandering in the fields parched by the August sun in which I summarize myself, in the woods made of trees and baroque altars, between pink sand beaches and golden rooms with a thousand mirrors. Each time it is amazement, each time it is emotion, each time it is life.
