There are still too many fandom classics that I haven't read despite reading johnlock fics on any given day for years now. N&N was one of them and I'm so glad I finally read it. I enjoy parentlock fics in general but the clone baby idea made this story even better. Just like Sherlock and John, I fell in love with Oliver instantly. I loved how expressive Ollie was even when he couldn't speak and reading his interactions with his fathers was delightful. I already miss this little lovely family. Also, I loved how Sherlock and John were basically in a relationship without realising it from the start (or rather without John realising it) (and I just love this trope because it's just so... accurate) and then acknowledged their feelings when Oliver came into their lives, the part where John asks "Are we dating now?" and Sherlock answers "How could you ask if we're dating? We're married." was one of my favourites. The characterisation in this fic is perfect and I absolutely adored the dialogues. I was smiling during most of the fic but I have to admit that I couldn't stop my tears reading the last chapters. I could never imagine getting emotional over 'Baa Baa Black Sheep' was possible before reading this fic but here we are now. For the last thing I want to say that the name of the fic fits perfectly with the story.
John sat with his blog open and stared at it.
“You’ve got nothing to say,” Sherlock remarked, from where he was sitting on the floor teaching Oliver chemical equations with the visual aids of the big, bright blocks Mrs. Hudson had bought for the baby.
“Well, I don’t want to talk about Oliver. I don’t want to make him…blog fodder.”
“Why don’t you put on your blog that he has no idea the sun goes ‘round the moon?”
“Sherlock, he doesn’t know what the sun and moon are.”
“You could put that on your blog. ‘Oliver is clever when it comes to rolling over but he is spectacularly ignorant about some things, like what the sun and the moon are.’”
“Are you ever going to get over that?” John asked.
“No,” Sherlock responded, simply, and then, “Oliver, take that blue block out of your mouth, we need it to represent carbon.”
