Styx, 11pm - Aria is there a few moments more, cigarette in hand. Only a few drags left, she approaches her sire and nearly laughs. "Yeah, alright." Finishing her smoke, she puts it out on the bottom of her shoe and tosses it into the bin sitting outside the entrance.
Though they're at the club, she knows that they're not here to share a cocktail and swap stories about the time Eris had missed as her sire. They're vampires, and she had already been able to clock that there's something a little off about the one who'd turned her.
Makes sense, really. Like begets like. Her own mind - still fractured - has other cracks than the memory loss. The way it betrays her and forces her into routines day in and day out was enough to know that something plagued her. She licks her lips and looks at the people filing into the club.
"You wanna drink from this crowd?" Aria doesn't mind - she's had better and worse. "Will probably taste better than line-dancers."
Eris grinned as the other vampire approached, genuinely delighted to see Aria. Eris snubbed out the last of the cigarette out on the back of her hand before tossing it over her shoulder uncaring where it landed. Enjoying the slight sizzling and burn in her flesh, it would heal enough as soon as the duo began having fun. "Darling, it's wonderful to see you. " Eris motioned to the club, eyeing the folks that stumped inside and out. Styx had been careful chosen by the older vampire. First it was a neutral location, no need to worry about clan boundaries or pesky treaties, second the humans came to the club to fall into oblivion and hardly noticed when their campions went missing. "I think this is an excellent way to get to know each-other. For us vampires, I have found over the years that you can learn a lot about someone from how they choose to hunt and eat."
Was her fledgling calculated, messy, feral, how much did Aria delight in the kill. These were all thoughts that had Eris on the edge of her seat. There was a twinkle in Eris's dark eyes. "Line dancers? Tell me more. " A slight purr as she leaned towards Aria like they were sharing a secret. "I had some toreros last year while I was in Spain, and they were a bit more of an umami and regret after taste than i had been expecting. " Eris let her eyes roam the crowd resting on several morsels that looked ripe for the picking. "Now I was intending for you to take the lead while I watched, but if you want I will happily dine first."
