I am but a wound pressed with ice pleading for alleviation of the seemingly unbounded heartache The numbness fades and the debris from the storm weeks prior swirl once again stirred by emotion as a hurricane materializing abruptly The maps that once lead nowhere now heeding to a sanctuary to call home The salt stained cheeks flushing with a hue deemed none other but the sure indication of embarrassment kindled from fondness and warmth The tired swollen shut eyes ultimately opened with sparks of green and gold that had been ignited only once before The flame now piles of stick concealed in slate ash smothered and kicked whilst down beaten to minuscule pieces of charcoal Exploding into sparks of pink orange and red the prominence of the elation seen that can only be achieved through the absolute madness of infatuation The feeling cherished preserved and never forgotten with the unabridged sincerity of complete and utter Love Knowingly aware of what could be lost in mere seconds as before One must never stop loving before time slips through the cracks self-destructing to self-discover Crying on the bathroom floor to being unable to wipe the most genuine grin off of your face Rehabilitation; Recovery from the storm. My love know all will be well and the best is yet to come The ice has melted and the wound has warmed bringing the sweet feeling of comfort back into the body allowing it to feel human again
