Honestly what has the world come to? This is THE statue of David, a picture I took at a museum in Florence from my Instagram. The fact that I have to censor my own content and also not to mention that this is a work of art from the Renaissance. You want to censor Michelangelo? Tumblr, are you out of your mind?? This is unacceptable and I can’t believe that this is the world we’re living in that we can’t even post artwork and have it live on our own social media. It’s actually disgraceful to think that we live in a society that shames free-speech and free choice due to sensitivity and does not allow us the right to choose what we can and cannot post on social media. It’s only a matter of time before everything becomes censored everything becomes wrong and everything becomes inappropriate. I fear for the future.
