I think a big part of it is this is too much of a side angle to communicate both stick-outiness and width without it looking hideously wrong, whereas from the front I have the visual language of The Weird Wrong-Perspective Sticking Out on one side of the body and Relatively Normal Albeit Excessive Hip on the other. I have become used to The Weird Sticking Out but it probably looks horrible and distorted to everyone else.

archive only lists tags that at least 2 posts have

archive only sees posts that were created with a tag. posts that were edited to have a tag do not count towards the 2 post minimum.

when setting a filter, the archive can find posts that were edited to have a tag, but it displays the wrong total

this explains why the only tags in the archive before and immediately after me going through and tagging everything were #ask and #no-use-for-a-username, because xkit auto-populates those tags when replying to asks.
