i still think it wouldve been funny that since millie was a kittypet all of her adult life, when she and graystripe had kittens if they actually had like. a litter of eight. i remember i posted that on my old blog but i was just thinking of it again like god what if graystripes pacing in front of the nursery bc hes obviously very very very nervous and anxious and leafpool comes out like uh. uh. uncle graystripe. millie is okay shes fine please dont worry but you have. well you have a big litter on your paws. and hes like OH four kits?? like sorreltail and brackenfur?? and leafpool is like no uncle graystripe. you have eight kits.

and graystripe is so so so goddamn happy too. he just runs into the nursery and sees millie and hes like wow. one….two…..three…four……five….six… ….seven…..eight…………eight kits. we have eight kittens. he sticks his head out of the nursery like HEY FIRESTAR CHECK THIS SHIT OUT and firestar is like ??? bc he doesnt believe it. but then he sees the new kits and hes like damn bro. i guess we’ll have eight new apprentices in six months. graystripe and millie have to ask help for names because they only thought of four just in case they had a normal-forest large litter but they didnt expect this. graystripe is so happy

All of the names have to also start with b… So like you’d get names like beetlekit!! Birdkit, bugkit, bluebellkit, stuff like that!! I love beetlekit. There is so many of them there is bound to be some lookalikes and so shenanigans ensue with twin switching and such. I love this big happy family
