"So the word has traveled all the way to even the Exalt herself? I don’t know if I should be flattered, or burdened by more expectations.." She allowed a chuckle, her tone jovial, though feeling the expectations weighing down on her. 

"I’m afraid nothing escapes your Captain," the Queen replied with a fond tune to her voice as she continued to style her hair. "Phila keeps me up to date on just about everything, from her Pegasus Knight trainees to how her parents in the country are doing. There’s really no need for you to feel any kind of strain, though; I would prefer to get to know you for myself."

With a gentle pat to test the spring of her curls, Emmeryn smiled and nodded into the mirror before expertly affixing her crown onto the back of her head. With a satisfied sigh, the Exalt made her way across the room to the door where the Pegasus Knight was waiting for her.

"Whenever Captain Phila tends to speak about her own recruits, it is either because she holds them in high regards, or because they are difficult to mold and discipline.." She let out a chuckle, "I just hope I am not the latter."

The Exalt's hair looked very soft, but Cordelia found it amusing that it took quite some time for her to style it.. Perhaps a bad case of bed hair? Maybe that trait ran in the Exalted line..

"Certainly, Cordelia," the Exalt responded, already beginning to realize how much the Pegasus Knight sounded like her predecessor. "My mornings usually began an hour or two after dawn when Captain Phila would meet me for breakfast in the dining hall. She would deliver her report of any new developments in the realm or about her knights before escorting me to the throne room here to speak with my advisers and a few members of the nobility. Afterwards, she would hand my protection over to the Royal Guard so she could supervise her recruits for a while."

Emmeryn paused for a moment and turned a concerned eye to Cordelia. Many of her fellow Pegasus Knights had fallen during Plegia’s attack of the capital a few weeks ago and many more gave up their lives to secure the Queen’s escape. As far as she knew, Cordelia and Sumia were the last of their order.

"Of course.. Yes.. Perhaps that would be for the best." Cordelia tried her best to stay eager and to focus her mind on the future, but once the Exalt began to speak again, she realized that filling in her late captain's shoes would be no easy task, and that she would be the one whom the Exalt's protection lay on.

When I started this blog in August, I was totally terrified. Coming into the community was really unnerving for me and I had to grow a lot to get adjusted to everything. Since then, I’ve met a lot of really wonderful friends and RPers, and I’ve even come out of my shell a little too. I just wanted to thank everyone for being so inviting and putting up with me, even though I still get choked up from time to time, and for helping me become a more confident writer and person!

;mun speaking I just came back with my Lon’qu around one week ago - and I truly appreciate it how many people are actually enjoying to interact with my muse or enjoy my blog in general.  Lon’qu is not a comic relief character like some might believe; and I put a lot effort in my portrayal to give him an actual soul.  He’s really dear to me and I hope I can make other people also fall him love with him for what he truly is - a man who seeks his own path.  I am now way over 200 followers, so it seems to be in time to make one of these things! uvu.  Once again I would like to thank everyone who followed me and interacted with me so far!
