ENTRE-DEUX is coming to a close tomorrow, April 20th. We would like to thank everyone for supporting our show and making it the wonderful experience we hoped it would be. This still is from an ongoing performance I did throughout the opening on April 16th. It was a real breath of fresh air. Lewis Lazar fronts an ever changing band with the main man, the back beat and bones of it: Joe Vallone. He writes with a string of styles and talks a strand of stories . He hails from Brussels, London, Dublin and Denmark but now lives in New York on and off.

Mirkt (pronounced "meerkat") represents the culmination of years of songwriting and thus documents the musical and creative evolution of Alex Russo. Previously a contributing member of groups ranging from hip-hop to shoegaze to big band jazz, Alex began recording his own solo material upon moving to New York City in the summer of 2013. Now, many months later, he has begun releasing it under the the pseudonym Mirkt as a homage to his favorite childhood animated character, Timon.Wednesday, Alex will be performing a series of stripped down, semi-improvised versions of Mirkt originals as well as composing new pieces on the spot. 

Lynn studied the art of Tarot independently and practiced "reading" avidly for herself and others starting in 2011, producing remarkable awakenings in her own life by integrating insights from the Oracle with her qigong/meditation study and energy work which began in the same year. Lynn's intensive work and research in these fields has helped her to establish a rhythmic pattern of communication with the unconscious, or the unknown, from which much of her artistic and alchemical discipline has stemmed. In addition to performing her own vocal music and presenting visual works, she has lectured on topics such as the third eye and the subtle body in attempts to demystify the contents of the occult teachings and reconstitute their value in modern society.

O-NAMI (TWO DESTROYERS) is a two-piece band created by tenor saxophone player Adam Robinson and vocalist Lynn Thu Tun. Their performances, of high-energy musical and spatial compositions, feature influence from their studies in jazz, metal, drone, post-hardcore, noise, electronic, contemporary classical music, Hindustani classical music, gagaku, extended technique, and extended intonation/harmonic study.
