"I was.. uh.." Sam scratched his head "I was.. a pizza delivery boy at one point.. for a few months." He rubbed his eyebrows "Yeah that was a little while ago. I haven’t actually been on a star ship before. At least, not as a crew member."

"Well you are one now," she smiled.  "Hopefully you'll enjoy your stay on the ship."

"Ah, I'm having a pretty cool time right now!" Sam smiled and took a sip of tea "I'll be more at home here within the next few days or so.." He sighed "Until then, I just gotta' work my way around here and get used to things!"

"Y’know what, I think I’ll pass on the tea this time" Sam sighed, placing his mug down on the table, sitting down and leaning back on his chair. At least he hadn’t spilt tea on Wei. "So!" he sat forward suddenly "How long have you been here then?"

"Since the ship left dock," Wei took a sip of her tea.  "I was on the Republic before this for about four years.  What about you?  Where were you before coming on the Normandy?"

Wei sat back down and sighed.  “You are an interesting one,” she laughed.  “I do not suppose that you would like more tea…”

"Y'know what, I think I'll pass on the tea this time" Sam sighed, placing his mug down on the table, sitting down and leaning back on his chair. At least he hadn't spilt tea on Wei. "So!" he sat forward suddenly "How long have you been here then?"

"Alright good," she replied. “Have you been eating and sleeping regularly? And don’t lie because you’ll only be hurting yourself." The scanners beeped and Alenis read over them.

"Uh," Sam paused for a moment in thought, looking up to…

"Ah, close enough," Alenis shrugged. "It’s hard to keep up on all that when you’re so busy, but at least try to put some effort into it," she said, finishing up with the scanners. "Well, you’re in good physical condition. Bones look strong, muscles and joints fine. Blood pressures good as well as resting pulse," Alenis read off the results to Sam. "Looks like you’re all clear," she smiled.

Sam puffed a sigh of relief "Well I'm glad to hear that.." He looked up at Alenis with a friendly smile "I haven't been to the doctor's for donkey's years.." He sighed again, sitting himself up. "Well, if that's all then, I guess I'll be off!" he sniffed, standing up, waiting a dismissal.

Check Up (Faren+Walker CL)

"Alright good," she replied. “Have you been eating and sleeping regularly? And don’t lie because you’ll only be hurting yourself." The scanners beeped and Alenis read over them.

"Uh," Sam paused for a moment in thought, looking up to the ceiling “Define regularly…"

"At least six hours of sleep each night, three meals a day," Alenis responded.

Check Up (Faren+Walker CL)

"Alright good," she replied. “Have you been eating and sleeping regularly? And don’t lie because you’ll only be hurting yourself." The scanners beeped and Alenis read over them.

"Uh," Sam paused for a moment in thought, looking up to the ceiling “Define regularly…"

  "No need to worry, this’ll be quick," Alenis said as she started up the scanners. “Tell me, have you felt nauseous lately? Any headaches? Phantom tickling sensations?"

"I, uh, not that I’m aware of.." he sniffed, trying to recall any event of sickness or anything in the past year. “Nope, nothing. Not a daisy in a windshed." He smiled awkwardly and scratched his eyebrow, waiting for Alenis’ next question or statement.

"Alright good," she replied. “Have you been eating and sleeping regularly? And don’t lie because you’ll only be hurting yourself." The scanners beeped and Alenis read over them.

"Uh," Sam paused for a moment in thought, looking up to the ceiling "Define regularly..."

Sam thanked Wei, andwent to scoop up his mug....
