Happy pride month to the tiny cowboy and tiny Trojan man from Night at the Museum
This hands down the best comment in the notes, I will not be taking criticism.

I worked on this for over 16 hours you WILL look at it
As summer is approaching, Iโd like to remind everyone that you are not entitled to ask someone to cover up their scars, self inflicted or not. I donโt care if theyโre big, I donโt care if theyโre noticeable, or purple, or all over their body, or what. You canโt police peopleโs bodies.
This also goes for my friends with feeding tubes, ostomy bags, central lines and urinary catheters. People are allowed exist in bodies that stray from the expected norm.
Happy Pride Month everyone! Remember 4 months ago when the CEO of this platform harassed and chased a trans woman off this website just for posting her transition timeline, then chased her to other social media platforms to continue harassing her, and threatened to call the FBI if she continued disputing the multiple dubious terminations of her blogs that did not violate tumblr's terms of service in any way? And despite tumblr staff insisting that the CEO was acting against their interests, the broad transmisogyny evident in the site's culture and moderation policy has still not been adequately addressed?
Remember that staff is continuing to nuke the blogs of trans women even after all of this. Remember this post when they call this site the queerest place on the internet again this month
It's 2 years later. It's gotten worse. Happy pride month.

Where's that comment?
Hello Tumblr!ย
@jubs here, today, to tell you about a feature we're building: Comments by author!
Comments (or replies) have been around for a while, but they have always been tucked away from your regular feed, and so we're working on a few ways to integrate them into the rest of our experience.
Soon, blogs will have a Comments tab alongside Posts, Likes, and Following. There, you will be able to see posts other people have been commenting on, and, more importantly,ย find your own comments! This was not possible before, except through notifications if someone engaged with your comment.
We're also working on a way to surface posts commented on by people you follow in your feeds. You will be able to find those in the For You tab, and later, alongside chronological posts in the Following tab.
So, how do you identify those posts in the feeds?ย
Replied posts will show a small preview right there in your dashboard, before you click anything.ย
This is not out yet, but soon! In the meantime, tell us what you think and expect from this! โบ๏ธ
Launch Day
@jubs again!
First of all, thank you all for the feedback in the original post!
Today, we're launching the new "Comments" tab for Blog pages, and we'll be testing a For You recommendation based on comments from people you follow. The posts will have a preview of the reply, so you know why you're seeing that post.
You will be able to control the new tab visibility, and whether we should include your comments in your follower's feeds, through a new setting:
The toggle can be found on https://www.tumblr.com/settings/blog/YOUR_BLOG or in the General Settings > Replies section, on Mobile. If you have already disabled the "Share posts you like" setting, the setting will default to disabled.
The new tab is only available on Web and iOS (44.8+) for now, but the toggle is available to everyone (including on Android), so you can control what other people see on your blogs, even if you don't have the new feature yet. Don't worry, we have plans to implement the tab and posts on Android, soon!
---
We want to later include these replied posts to the Following feed as well, and we're planning on adapting the current "Include posts liked by the blogs you follow" toggle to also consider comments, in case you don't want to see shared comments from people you follow.
What do you think? As always, we appreciate your thoughts, keep 'em coming!

Reblogging again for pride month 2025.
This is for all those who were promised community, only to be rejected and banned. To all those who can't wear or fly a Magen David โก๏ธ without being accused of blood libel. To those who had their community turn their backs on them. To those who have had self-proclaimed nazi punchers spew nazi rhetoric back to their face. To those who are lost. To those that lost friends, lost their sense of belonging, because people stole our word and re-defined it to mean something dirty.
To the queer Jews, and allies, who don't have the same place of belonging that they had before October 7th. To those that aren't here anymore, after. Happy Pride.
2026!
Wishing safety and belonging to everyone, especially my Jewish mishpacha and our allies. ๐๐ณ๏ธโ๐๐ณ๏ธโโง๏ธโก๏ธ
Happy pride month, if you kick out Jewish people for expressing their religion and culture you are antisemitic!! Jewish people belong at pride and deserve to express their Jewishness at pride just like any culture or religion!!
<3 โก๏ธ๐ณ๏ธโ๐๐ love yall!!!!
Happy TDOV!

just saw a 'comments' tab on someones blog you know where the following and likes tabs would be if enabled and it was just showing all the replies theyve made on peoples posts. this is fascinating when did this feature come out
EMERGENCY - ITS AUTO ENABLED!
if you've made replies on posts there is now a tab on your blog showing every post youve replied to and your reply.
if this is not what you want, either go to your blog and click comments and disable it from there or just go to your individual blogs setting pages. just change it from blue to grey if you dont want everyone to see your replies AND the post you're replying to
PLEASE BE ADVISED that it is set to disabled for blogs that have not made any replies but it will turn ON if you reply with that blog in the future.! i just tested it with my main, which was greyed out but it turned on the moment i left a test reply
figured i'd get the word out bc i have not seen a single mention of this and i'm sure there are plenty of people who maybe comment on things they don't want on display for everyone to see on their blog lol. you can still look at your replies with it toggled off just no one else can, like locking the following and likes list
so for some reason this feature was actually announced on the tumblr engineering blog. interesting choice not to reblog it to the staff or tumblr blog, esp considering they asked for user input on how to implement it, but i suppose considering the response to the last update maybe the replies would be too overwhelming...
so couple of clarifications. comments are disabled as default for primary blogs that have their likes disabled. they are seemingly enabled for all other blogs that have replied to posts
posts you comment on may show on your followers 'for you' page if you leave your replies publically available. they may, in the future, show in on your followers dashboard if your follower goes to their dash settings and enables this. apparently, if your likes are enabled, your followers can already see those on the dash if they've gone into preferences and selected to do so, which I was unaware of, and that seems to be disabled at default, but it's possible i disabled it previously and forgot about it ig

Local LGBTIQ+ organisation LEGABIBO welcomed the governmentโs move, describing it as โa necessary and long-overdue step toward restoring dignity and aligning our legal framework with constitutional values of equality and human rights.โ The group said the change sends โa clear message that LGBTIQ+ persons are not criminals, and that their lives and relationships deserve protection, not punishment.โ LEGABIBO noted that the colonial-era provisions had long cast a shadow over the lives of LGBTIQ+ people in the country.
