✯ Manny has quite limited schooling. He's at Welton purely because of his grandfather's influence alone, as well as his deep drive to succeed. In his native country he never once went to school. And for many years he never set foot in a school here in the United States. The culture shock was probably the worst for Manny when he first entered school as a young man, and experienced the first real incidents of discrimination in his life. Though he realizes education is important, he's made it thus far without it.✯

✯ Manny isn't very easy to edge over, especially in bed. Yet it's not very difficult for those who know him very well on an intimate level. His passion in everything else translates to lovemaking as well. Despite his innocent nature he's quite rough, almost violent. Although he's capable of being gentle and caring as well. Beyond anything else...he'll only get in bed with someone he loves. A few of his friends know of special areas on his body, namely the back of his neck, which make Manny uneasy when touched there. Almost like some kind of pet. This, as well as a general understanding of his personality, is what makes sex for Manny truly memorable. ✯

✯ With all the emotions locked away within him, Manny doesn't realize that what he needs is someone he can love. He cares for all his friends deeply, and loves them all. But after his first girlfriend left him, he realized that he never truly loved her. He only wanted to love her, because he thought she was the one meant for him. Now he seeks someone who would take him as he is, and won't shun him for being attached or for being different. Someone who can accept and reciprocate all the passion and love he's saving within. It might be cliched or old fashioned...but he seeks to find someone he can court. Some form of stability in the volatile lives they lead. ✯

✯ Manny has several scars on his body. Though most of them he tries to cover up through various means, there's some that are obvious to the naked eye. Each scar carries a different story. Some are on his face, others his back or in other areas of his body. Most of them some from his past as a fighter. But others exist as evidence of dog bites, accidents, even abuse. His body tells a story. ✯
