“…I’m…not old though……” He stops in his tracks and looks at Flannery. “Do I really have to dye my hair another color in order to meet your standards of ‘young’? I could try red but you know… you wear the color much better than I do.” 

Lies! All lies! Liar liar pants on fire! ... Should she set his pants on fire?

The idea shook her like an earthquake, however. The image of Steven with her hair color was brilliant!

“I’m not old though, Flannery. I’m thirty-five.” He frowns and takes her hand spinning her on her feet before stopping her within arms length. “Can an elder person move like this?” 

“Thirty-five is the new ninety-eight...” She informed him with a confident nod. “Especially if you’re born with grey hair, then you add twenty years... So, by today’s standards you’re like one hundred and eighteen years old-”

Her thought process was cut off when she was spun and caught by the champion, her free arm held tight against her as she watched him, her eyes wide with awe.

       “ Incorrect. In this time, glasses’ function is            merely aesthetic. An idiotic trend that had            been revived because of that. ”

“…Flannery it’s only been a few days since i’ve last seen you… I do NOT look that old…!” 

“Steven where is your wheelchair?! I don’t want your legs to give out!” Flannery put a hand on his back to support his frail body.

“Good morning Flannery!” 

       “ This is the year 2020, where everyone has             a perfect eye sight. Myopia; astigmatism             and all other. Gone forever. ”
