Rain never went well together with him. His quirk weakened and dampened after all that moisture in the air. Even the after effects of rain weakens him like nothing else. Which is why he had gone to the convenience store to get ice cream and wait it out. 

And then when he’s outside again. He takes a moment to analyse why everything looked suddenly brand new and different.

Shotu always had waited for this sentence. To someone calling his hair weird. But out of all, the first one to make this comment ever - it was someone, who maybe was his father’s younger self. How ironic. After all, he was exactly split between the features of his mother and him. Reason for the burn on his left side too.
