There are tons of westerner youtubers like hacksmith and colin fuze that does basically the same thing yet people dont call those people propaganda. It really feels like people's view of china has never gotten past the pre second sino Japanese war image of the backwards illiterate peasent.

When the US does it it's culture and individualism and politically neutral but any piece of positive media that comes out of China is viewed with suspicion and a psyop of the state.
