Anyways, I'm really proud of how it turned out. This project was supposed to be a simple thing, but my ass decided to complicate it tho I don't regret a thing.

Day 345

This is what I WAS working on yesterday before my computer crashed and I lost all the progress OTL

UPDATE I'VE DONE TESTING AND I THINK I FIGURED IT OUT :D (edit I was wrong here!! it's a mod/toggle!!)

So what I'm pretty sure grian has is *something* (eg pumpkin) that has the texture of BOTH a non enchanted netherite helmet and his cool eyes.

He has then enchanted that eg pumpkin and so swapping between a regular enchanted netherite helmet and his helmet+eyes gives the effect without anything noticeable being put on his head

also I went into Minecraft and checked, yep enchantment glint carries over no matter what headgear you switch to (linked here cause tumblr doesn't like videos in reblogs)

ive been thinking of an au of hermitcraft but following their in-universe lore ! so scar is a zookeeper that travels the multiverse on his magic train, and one day he lands on magic mountain...!

used hermit a day may as an opportunity to redraw the banner from the hermitcraft website ^^ it was a really fun challenge
