What if Bunny wasn’t always on Barcha’s main roster? What if he was originally part of Re Al’s youth team before he turned eighteen?

We know Sae doesn’t just hate people for no reason; he's mainly indifferent, but his level of animosity toward Bunny feels so personal, not just competitive. And the only way I can realistically see them having that kind of tension is if they had direct, repeated interaction before Blue Lock ever came into play.

So think of this:

Bunny and Sae both training within the same system, Re Al’s youth structure. Same facilities, same environment, constantly around each other. Maybe even competing for attention, for playtime, for recognition.

And then something happens.

Whether it’s during training or a match, maybe even a Youth-level Re Al vs Barcha game, something that leaves a lasting impression on Sae.

Then Bunny turns eighteen. Instead of continuing with Re Al, he gets an offer from Barcha to join with a promise of eventually being on their first team, and he takes it.

I do want to point out that Bunny is a little unsettling.

I love him, but the way he interacts with Isagi, and especially that line later in chapter 326, “oh, so you’re one of us”, there’s something off about him. Like he recognizes something in people, and it’s not framed in a comforting way.

If anything, this makes me feel like whatever happened between them isn’t just rivalry, it’s ideological. The way they view football, ego, and what it means to “be one of them” might fundamentally clash.

I'm also really curious to see how Loki and Bunny interact. The New Gen 11 seem to all know each other.

Like I went in thinking I was gonna be confused as hell and that it was just gonna be some full-on harem situation, but no and yes?? There’s actual action, the customization is good, the story is lowkey pulling me in, and don’t even get me started on the characters.

Because why are these men fine as fuck.
