I rule the Ice

To be completely honest, Chi had absolutely no idea where to look.

“Alright… I don’t know, probably laying on the ground somewhere?”

There were a lot of Tauros in the area. It would be a shame if one of them were startled. Thankfully, their team name wasn’t “Team Assholes”.

“Or maybe a Tauros has one?” he offers as a suggestion.

Skipper kept looking around the area, looking for something that might produce the desired Gummis.

“Hmm... both of those might be possible. If they’re on the ground it’d be easier. And I’d rather not startle one of them at the moment. But... if they do end up having some... I suppose it could be a backup plan.” he stated. “Maybe Gummis grow on trees?”

Skipper stood at the entrance to The Bull’s Stead. For a first mission, the description for this made it seemed really easy. All we need to do is get some Gummis? This’ll be a piece of cake!

“Come on, let’s get a move on.”

“…Just a gummi? Sounds simple enough.” Chi states.

The description did make it seem easy. He was a bit relieved that his team was starting with something simple, Chi didn’t want to get into anything too serious too quickly.

“Alright, coming! Let’s start looking.” he exclaims.

Skipper looked around the area, getting a grasp on his surroundings. There were many Tauros around, just like the description said.

“We better be careful not to startle them. I think we’ll be able to handle them, but not all of them, so we should still be careful. Allright?” he stated to Chi.

“I-It seems we are assigned together. My name is Chi..” the Lucario stated.

Truth be told, Chi was a bit intimidated by the two–the both of them looked so strong. However, beyond that fear was a deep excitement that he desperately holds in so he can hold a good first impression, or the impression that he aims to achieve. He had a good feeling that the three of them would make a great team.

“I sincerely hope I can keep up with you two. Let us work hard together for here on out.” He says optimistically, holding his paw out.

“Quite right.” The Fire/Fighting Pokémon then put his hand on top of the Lucario’s, assuming that it was a team handshake.

“But first, I may have to warn you two of something. See, I have a belt that allows me to attain Mega Evolution. However, I do get a tad… “quirky”, so to speak, when I wear it. It’s kind of a split personality thing; I hope that neither of you would take that into much alarm or discomfort.“

Skipper placed one of his flippers on the other two’s hands, also assuming it’s their team handshake. “I’m sure the three of us will the best team out there.” he said. “We should make the best of it.”

“... Mega Evolution? I’ve never heard of that before... Regardless, It’s a good thing you told us now, we would’ve been in for a rough surprise if you hadn’t.”

“So, you two’re my new team members?

Good to meet you; the name’s Blazikeese.”

Empoleon looked at the two faces in front of him. “So these are my new teammates I was assigned?” he thought to himself. “Hm.. they seem pretty good... but looks aren’t everything, I suppose.”

“My name is Skipper. I also go by Empy, but only by close people. Those are the only two names I will go by and answer to so don’t waste your breath using any others.”

“Well, alright, Skipper-dee!” The Chespin said, turning around to lead the way. His strides were overly emoted, legs raised high and arms being swung every which way. Luckily, this didn’t last very long as Oswald clonked into the mission board, stumbling back as he did. 

“I have no time for jokers...” he thought to himself. Skipper followed behind Oswald and saw him bonk his head on the board. Now it was his turn to hide his chuckles. Oh how the tables have tabled...

“However, I plan on being the first one.”

“However, I’m assuming that since both of us just got to these islands, we should probably work together for a bit. Just until we know our surroundings. Tell me your name, child.”

“However, I plan on being the first one.”
