I honest to god think there’s something personality-revealing about the word a character will choose to describe vomiting. Because, like, we have so many words for it. Are they gonna say the more crass and casual “hurl”? True neutral of “throw up”? The more clinical “vomit”? Overly polite “be sick”?

Someone thinking the AC has kicked on to be colder, or someone else in the building/house has turned up the AC, and then they check it and the temperature display is the same as always. It’s them that feels suddenly shivery

Another rare fandom-specific post from me but there’s something so funny and in-character to me about Ryland Grace trying his absolute best to explain the basics of motion sickness and the vestibular system to Rocky as he himself is feeling deeply motion sick. Like he just puked mere moments ago from either the switch to zero-g or to the artificial gravity and he’s trying to draw a shitty diagram on a whiteboard for Rocky of the inner ear. Fuck it maybe even a puppet show is involved

the thing about being "good with kids" is all it takes is literally just not trying to control and mould them with every interaction. it's just being a normal person and engaging with them through normal interactions like having conversations and playing games. it's just being genuine and friendly and not perceiving them as lumps of wet clay you are there to shape. "oh you're so good with kids" thanks it's because I think they are people
