Super easy wrist warmers 

You will need: 

One skein of bulky weight (size 5) yarn • I used a variegated Isaac Mizrahi Craft premier yarn in “Woolworth” • Yarn is 64% acrylic, 12% bamboo, 12% alpaca, 12% wool (and super warm and comfy) Size J hook (6 mm) Yarn needle to weave in ends 

Abbreviations used: 

St = stitch Sk = skip Ch = chain Slst = slip stitch HDC = half double crochet HDC 2 tog = half double crochet two stitches together (#) = total number of Sts in the round 

Note: These wrist warmers are worked from top to bottom in rounds. The rounds above the thumb hole are joined with a slip stitch, but below the thumb hole they are worked in a spiral (otherwise the seam would travel all the way around the glove and that would be ugly) This pattern is very simple, but it’s my first time writing a pattern so please feel free to ask if anything is unclear. 

Round 1: Ch 20 (or however many chain stitches you need so that the chain will wrap around your hand without stretching, just below your knuckles); Slst into first chain to form a round (20) Round 2: Ch 2; HDC into each Ch around (20 Sts including the Ch 2); Slst into 2nd Ch of starting Ch 2 Round 3: Ch 2; HDC into each St around (20); Slst into 2nd Ch of starting Ch 2 Rounds 4 – 8: Repeat round 3 (20) *note* for right hand glove do not Slst to join at the end of round 8

Right Hand Glove: Round 9: Ch 8 (tightly); Sk Ch 2 from previous round and Slst into next St; HDC into next 20 Sts (20 not including thumb hole chain) From this point on crochet rounds in spiral 

Left Hand Glove: Round 9: Ch 2; HDC into next 14 Sts; Ch 8 (tightly); Sk 2 Sts and Slst into next St; HDC into next 3 Sts; DO NOT join and DO NOT Ch 2, instead do a HDC into the Ch 2 from previous round (from this point on crochet rounds in spiral) This round is going to extend past the previous join spot to form a new round beginning/end at the thumbhole); HDC into next 13 Sts, which should take you to the start of the thumbhole chain (31 total not including chain) 

From here you may want to use a stitch marker, or just count the stitches as you go 

Round 10: 6 HDC into thumbhole space; HDC into next 18 Sts (24) Round 11: HDC into each St around (24) Round 12: *HDC into next St; HDC 2 tog*; Repeat from * to *; HDC into next 18 Sts (22) Round 13: HDC into each St around (22) Round 14: *HDC into next St; HDC 2 tog*; Repeat from * to *; HDC into next 16 Sts (20) Round 15: HDC into next St; HDC 2 tog; HDC into next 17 Sts (19) Round 16: HDC into each St around (19)
