Vincent Van Gogh //this used to be so relatable except now it is way more persistent. my anxiety doesn't seem to fade anymore the volume just varies and i feel burnt out 24/7. i am working on trying to shape my current circumstances to fit what i need though and hopefully i will be able to improve my mental health very soon. my main goal in life is just to be happy because only by making yourself happy can you truly make others happy as well.

I don’t understand why people who cannot accept any moral grayness or complexity decide to join fandoms for the most emotionally complex stories and then try to shame everyone there who actually is able to understand the material.

not only fandoms but society as a whole is very easily convinced things are so simple or black and white. many people don't want to think about things very deeply or form a new perspective.

the fact of the matter is there is almost always nuance and gray-areas that people would rather just ignore to make life simpler, but being able to see nuance is how we come up with solutions that actually work.

this all or nothing, left or right, evil or heroic bs is annoyingly obtuse and ignorant quite honestly
