Rafe: oh yeah? Like who?

Rafe: I VERY WELL MIGHt

Rafe: you've jinxed me now

Rafe: actually no i'm rather sad about it

Rafe: :(

Rafe: that's kinda rude Emma

Rafe: i don't wanna get sick

Emma: take it like a man?

Rafe: for a show that's really encouraging us to have our shirts off most of the time they really like to leave free donuts out all the damn time

Rafe: want some?

“Nooo, it’s just a requirement if I want to win. Yeah, yeah. You got lucky, can I say that even if it’s clearly not beginner’s luck anymore?”

“You’re such a sore loser, you know that!? Sometimes it’s nice to let other people win! Um, no, but I will definitely take it, just to help you feel better about yourself.”

“On me? You were supposed to lose! That’s on you, buddy.”

“What is that a requirement!? Emma has to lose no matter what. Maybe you should step up your game and I would lose. But clearly you’re slackin’ tonight.”

“Oh I definitely blame you for me losing, isn’t it your fault for winning?” 

“Or just your own fault for not being as good as you had hoped? This is all on you! You should’ve been able to beat me, buddy.”

“N-no, naw..” Cheeks a little redder, Seamus shrugged. Compliments made him a bit bashful. “I’m glad you bake, so.. guess it’s even, ma’am.”

“Yes you are!” The smile upon Emma’s features then widened slightly. “Oh hush, you’re just saying that. But thank you. It’s incredibly nice of it. I’ll have to keep baking more, just for you.”

“Okay, so you’re not completely screwed. We can work with this. There are other things you can do other then bake. I mean it’s a business. So you’ve got orders, advertising, the books, over all management of the place. I mean that’s going to keep you pretty busy. Plus you could come up with fun ideas to draw people in.”

“I know I know.. Which I am totally cool with doing all those. Maybe I’m just over thinking it. I am, aren’t I? Just being my typical self..  dramatic and too insecure about my own things. But you’re right. I’ll be kept busy with all that, and I’m sure once things get going, I’ll be okay with it all... Now I just gotta think of that fun idea.”

We would be the two that would create a bomb in Charleston and not even be meaning to do so. Not offensive at all. Derick tends to grab Noah and run whenever i try to do anything in the kitchen so kinda shows you how offensive some people can be – though it is true I am the worst cook out there. There is – I was watching it on Netflix when I was bored and had no work – which I know tends to be a rare combo. We should probably go together, double our chances of winning.

“Thanks, I appreciate that. And I apologize for basically complaining in your ear, I’m sure there’s a lot more going on than me borderline protesting stitches.” 

“Oh gosh, no.. Don’t apologize. Please, I’ll happily keep listening, honestly. You can talk all you want. Stitches are big deal, so it’s fine. I don’t mind, sweetheart.”

“Oh god Emma, sweetheart. Please tell me you’ve got a back up plan. I mean you could hire a baker right? You’ve got that in your budget?”

“Oh no.. I have a baker hired! I do, I do. But I wanted to bake too, you know? So I am actually doing something rather than just.. standing there.”

Emilia: That it is, I knew you always have good taste in ice cream too, Em.

Emilia: Mhm, that's it. I totally use you just to bring me some food. There's no point in being friends with people if I don't get something out of it, right?

Emilia: Kidding. You know I love you for doing this for me. And yep, advil will be muchly appreciated. Thank you.

Emma: Of course, it's ice cream.

Emma: Ouch... it's great to know your true colors are coming on, Emilia!! Way to break my heart. :(

“Aren’t they– the same thing? I thought–” She paused, “I think they are the same thing.” 

“Hmm... I’ve heard them called that, honestly.”
