The yes/no conversation was hilarious.

The way Grace finds out how to understand Rocky is so cool (also what a cool way to exchange, in music! I'm sure I would love to listen to Rocky speak).

The mass measurement was fun and hilarious in the end. I love how Rocky speaks.

Like, we had a very cold spring, with lots of temperature below zero and the snow stayed on the ground for a long time.

Last week we were still having a few flurries...

So now, yesterday we had our first REAL day of warmth (24C) and this morning?

MOSQUITOES!

Like, dude, you could at least give us a day or two to appreciate you know?

Ah well... they're going to be extremely aggressive with a season so short... Which means the flies are going to be b*tches too. Because, not only do we have mosquitoes, we also have horsefly, big and even bigger, small little black flies and the range in between... And all those insects are biters and stingers.

Michael messed up. Like really badly.

The thing is I don't want readers to hate Michael. He has a reason to do what he did. But Bianca is not in the best place either.

So yeah. that was an intense scene to write. it's not perfect yet.

I just wrote Bianca's side. Now I need to write what's Michael going through as well.

By the way, Luc is a mess. And he's forced to take a side. But it's killing him.

Part I was 25,764 words (7 chapters). Part II is 23,582 words (5 chapters)

I am still debating if I add one more chapter though.

The last chapter end on a cliffhanger. Sorta.

But the next chapter I am going to write will resolve the cliffhanger but leave my three little guys broken (not that they are in good shape right now).

I am just going to write this chapter and then I'll see where that goes.

Anyway.

I finally brought the hammer and shattered my poor boy Michael. But it's not finished.

And Luc is getting some as well. Because I can.

So, a bit of update.

I am still working on it. I am close to the end of Part II where, "the shit hit the fan."

As I said, this story will be angsty, even if the first part is fluffy and butterfly. So I am quite eager to write the final chapter of this part because it'll end on a cliffhanger for our two lovebirds (at least that's what I'm going for).

Also, and I keep telling myself it's okay, there will be changes in Part I. The more I write, the deeper I go with my characters. Luc has shown much more of himself to me. And I fully intend to write more of him, even in Part I. He is becoming far more than just the "link/matchmaker". He has his own story arc, his own journey to go through and his own ending... Well, not on his own, because, well, it's Luc.

So I brought them together. Then I break them apart. Then I brought them together with lingering tension. Now I am going to break them apart even further. And it's going to hurt. And then it'll hurt even more until it's break. Then... Well, let's see if I can get us there. Then we'll see.

A little excerpt from what I'm writing - let's call it WIP Monday Special

Bianca uncrosses her legs and jumps from the table, cutting short the conversation. She goes into her fridge. There’s a left over artichoke dip. She sniffs it and, satisfied, brings it to the main room. She waves at Luc who shakes his head, disgusted. “Don’t like artichoke?” “Don’t like all the stuff they put in there.” She shrugs, dipping her chips in them, Luc rolls his eyes and she smiles, satisfied to be able to bug him on something at least.

The fact Grave identify Rocky to a scientist because Rocky keeps playing with the tape. Also who among us didn't play with that thing, didn't hurt their fingers with this?

Once again, it's easy to feel a link to Grace, and also to Rocky.

Eva Stratt... Evan fucking Stratt. Of course there would be a copyright lawsuit and of course they would think about their little self without thinking that "hey let's gave all the chance possible to save humanity"...

I had this scene. The ONE scene I thought first when the idea of this story came. The ONE I wanted to get right...

And it kicked my ass. I had to changed it, changed things, rethink it, rewrite it... And in the end it's not AT ALL like I thought it was going to be.

Anyway. 4000+ words for this chapter. ANGST!!!!

I am still unsure if I got their emotional states and motivations quite right BUT this is the first draft. The idea is to get it done. Then I'll polish it.
