I think I’m gonna call him Aaron but don’t quote me on that. Sebastian also pops up alot in my head but it doesn’t match the vibe. Just don’t worry about names yest.

Anyways, I think instead of making him an outright awful father, he’s gonna be superficially nice.

In my head so far, he’s a man trying to climb up the social ladder and present himself as something he’s not. Aka stable and successful and not a believer in the calamity. I also see his marrige as being a lavander one, because he’s got alot of personal issues to work through.

He’s not necessarily fond of Astor and he thinks the boy is a disgrace, because he keeps getting into trouble and “ruining his imagine” during the first stages of his life.

But, once he realises he may or may not have a key role in bringing back the Calamity, he starts being incredibly nice and supportive to Astor. It’s all superficial tho, as he tries to mold him into what he wants.

Astor on the other hand does genuinely like his dad at first, until he realises he’s just being used so his father can climb up further in life. Which at that point, since he knows he’s gonna help the calamity anyways, he starts seeing his father as below him and as a pathetic human being.

They’re both just pretending to be nice to eachother.

But that’s a rough ideea I got going on so far, since 3 Eyes lore that I never shared lol used to be different.
