This past Saturday (June 2nd, 2018), my brother-in-law had a freak accident with a bandsaw that resulted in the near-amputation of two fingers on his left hand. This is a nightmare for a man who makes his living as a carpenter; his family is now facing large medical bills on top of the coming months that they will be going without the income from his job.

Crispin and his family have always treated me with kindness and generosity, and in their time of need, I desperately want to return the love and aid they’ve extended to me.

A bit of an update: C did end up losing the fingers, and his family could still use help with the medical bills, as well as financial support while he can’t work.
